Here we are with a new decision of CBSE. Students of Kerala from CBSE affiliated schools can now take a breath of relief. As CBSE decided to provide the certificates back to Kerala students who have lost them in the flood. It’s really a very breathtaking news for the student of Kerala. Due to flood, there is a lot of damage faced by the people of Kerala and this includes the students as well as the schools.
Yesterday, i.e on Monday Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the press notice for Kerala students. Keeping in mind the future of the lakhs of the students CBSE has announced that whose board exam academic documents such as the marksheets, migration certificates or pass certificates have been lost or damaged in Kerala floods will get them back through ‘Digital Repository’.
There are total 13,000 schools in Kerala which are affiliated to CBSE. So, for these CBSE will provide the digital marksheets, pass certificates and the migration certificates.
Now, the question comes to the mind that what is ‘Digital Repository’?
In collaboration with NeGD CBSE has launched its own and first digital academic repository called Parinam Manjusha. This digital academic repository is merged with the DigiLocker.
Digilocker is an application from where you can access your academic documents easily with valid id and password provided by the board. The documents provided through DigiLocker are digitally signed using the digitally signature of COE (Controller of Examinations) of CBSE. These documents are also provided with the PKI based OR codes which are easily verified for the authenticity through the ‘Digilocker Mobile App’.
How to Obtain the Mark sheets, Passing certificates, and Migration Certificates through Digilocker?
In order to access your documents digitally first visit the Parinam Manjusha official website- cbse.digitallocker.gov.in. Then enter the login id and the password which provided to you on your registered mobile number at the time of the declaration of result.
Student for the year 2016- 2018 CBSE will resend the login id and the password to their registered mobile number on the basis of the data of class 10th and class 12th.
What if there is no mobile number or changed the number?
For such a situation, students can visit the official website- cbse.digitallocker.gov.in and link their aadhar number to their account and get the documents by entering their roll number, class and year of the examination.
If you do not have aadhar and the roll number then you can directly ask your school to register themselves in order to get the documents. The link is provided for the schools on the official website to make the registration of such students.
For any change in your documents, you can contact the CBSE regional office Thiruvananthapuram by providing your roll number, class and year of the examination. If you have any query regarding it then you may also write to [email protected] with your roll number, class and year of the examination.
Also, note that the CBSE has also extended the date to September 30, 2018, for submitting the information of the school at OASIS (Online Affiliated School Information System) for CBSE affiliated schools in Kerala.
This is a very useful step taken by the CBSE board. As the board exams certificates play a very important role in higher studies or in attaining any job. With this decision, CBSE has brought the smile to the thousands of the faces of students of Kerala.
