Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared CBSE class 12 result today, July 13, 2020. The board informed that it will not release the merit list for the examination. However, success echoes loud. Lucknow girl, Divyanshi Jain has scored a perfect 100 in each subject. Divyanshi has appeared for all the papers held by CBSE except for Geography which was cancelled due to COVID-19.
CBSE has declared result for class 12 on the basis of internal assessment. As per it, Diyanshi has managed to score 100 out of 100 in all her 6 subjects that are English, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Insurance, and Economics. Her aggregate marks thus stand to be 600 / 600 and percentage an all clear 100.
Divyanshi is 18 years old and is a student of Navyug Radiance Senior Secondary School, Lucknow. She is a history lover and she aims to follow the same in her higher education. She has already applied for admission in BA (H) History at Delhi University.
CBSE Regional Officer (RO) Shweta Arora said, “Divyanshi got maximum marks in the Prayagraj region. She appeared in five out of six exams.”
On this huge success, Divyanshi said she was surprised as well as elated at the same time. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a homemaker. She gave the credit of her success to her parents and teachers.
Talking about her preparation, she said that she has focused a lot on revisions and mock tests, which has helped her score better.
The official website to check the result of the CBSE class 12 exam is cbseresults.nic.in. However, the website has crashed as soon as the results came out. CBSE Headquarters is looking into the matter and the problem is expected to be solved by 5 PM.
Apart from checking the result on the website, students can check the Digilocker app / website. Also, candidates can check it through the Interactive Voice Response system (IVRS). The candidates who are the local subscribers of Delhi have to call 24300699 to know their marks in the exam. Subscribers in other parts of the country have to call at 011-24300699 to get their results.
This year in class 12, the girls have outshined the boys. 92.15% of the female students have passed the exam and 86.19 % of the male students have qualified. The pass percentage for transgender candidates is 66.67%.
Also, the overall pass percentage for class 12 boards stands to be 88.78%. On the other hand, 7.35% of candidates have got a compartment.
The top 3 best-performing regions are Trivandrum (97.67%), Bengaluru (97.05%) and Chennai (96.17%).
