The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted the Class 10th Social Science exam. The paper was conducted on March 22, 2018, and it was of 03 hours duration. The paper was conducted from 10:30 AM to 01:30 PM. Students who appeared for the exam said that the paper was little difficult as some questions were tricky. While there was a mixed response of the students coming out from examination centers that the paper was a bit difficult, but to one part where all the students agreed was that there was nothing out of the syllabus. All the questions were from NCERT textbook only.

As per CBSE class 10 date sheet 2018, exams will get over on April 4, 2018. Next paper is on March 24 for Home Science. After that, Mathematics exam is on March 28. Maths being a tough subject for many, preparations are on with full steam.

From 19 to 25 carried 5 marks each. The question numbers 26 and 27 were map questions from History with one mark each. In total there were three map based questions. The questions on the map were easy. When time comes for CBSE 10 Result 2018, most students are looking forward to good marks.

One of the teachers said that “Map questions were from the NCERT only. Most of the students would get full marks from the map section”.

Well not everyone seemed to be pleased with the paper. Many students said that the question paper was lengthy as most of the questions needed examples. They also said that map section was difficult to analyze and took a little time.

There were total 27 questions in the Class 10 Social Science paper, out of these, question number 9, 11, 13 and 14 were tricky, as per the analysis.

The students and teachers have predicted that it will be easy for an average student to score above 60%, above average student can easily score 80% and intelligent ones 90-95% in this paper.

Questions in geography were general which involved an analytical understanding of the concepts rather than factual information. Direct questions were asked from History and Political Science. Questions in economics required a thorough understanding of the concepts and the language was a bit twisted. However, still, it would be a piece of cake for students answering those.

As per the reports, students and teachers reaction, it can be said that the paper od average difficulty level. 70+ out of 80 is easily scorable for the students. History map was slightly difficult for Students but they are still going to pass with flying colors.
