The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has released the notification regarding the pin purchase for GUJCET 2018. The Pin for GUJCET 2018 registration will have to obtained by the candidates from the district distribution centres allocated by the board across the state, starting from March 23, 2018, until April 06, 2018. The candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs. 300/- in Demand Draft at any Nationalised Bank payable at Ahmedabad in favour of “Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gandhinagar.”
The online registration process will begin from March 23, 2018, and will last till April 07, 2018. On this window, the candidates will have to register online using the Login Id and Password that will be provided to them from the various district centres.
Candidates will first need to get the Demand Draft of Rs. 300, drawn at any Nationalised Bank payable at Ahmedabad in favour of “Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gandhinagar.” Next, they need to submit the demand draft at any of the District Distribution Centre allocated by GSEB to collect the pin (User Id and Password). Lastly, they have to visit the official GUJCET 2018 portal gujcet.gseb.org, and with the help of the provided user id and password, candidates can register themeselves.
The candidates will also get the booklet and pin (User Id and Password) from the board offices at Vadodara and Gandhinagar, T & T.V. High School, Nanpura, Surat and S.G. Dholakiya High School, Rajkot during working hours, except for the holidays. There are 42 designated centres from where you can get the pin (user ID and password). The list of the centres is given below.
The GUJCET 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on April 23, 2018. Candidates will have to register, fill the application form and get their admit card as per the schedule to appear in the examination. The exam will allow the candidates to take admission into degree engineering, and degree & diploma pharmacy courses in various colleges in the state of Gujarat.
It is compulsory to register with the purchased pin (user id and password). Candidates are also required to upload their photograph and signature and will also have to compulsorily share email id and contact details. The registration portal will look like the one shown below. You will able to access the application form on entering the user id and password correctly.
The GUJCET 2018 syllabus will be at par with the Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations. The subjects that will be covered in the engineering entrance test are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The chapters covered by the GSEB Board will be enough for the preparation of GUJCET. The examination will judge the candidates on the basis of a total of 120 questions from the above-mentioned subjects.
