The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has started class 12 or Intermediate examination from February 1 to 13, 2021. Admit cards for BSEB Intermediate exam 2021 has been released and students can obtain it from their respective school by getting it duly signed from their principal. The board has also released exam-day instructions and COVID-19 guidelines that candidates need to follow for the class 12th Bihar board exam 2021.
Students appearing for the board exam must carry their admit card to the examination venue. It is also mandatory to wear face mask during the examination. Moreover, wearing shoes for Bihar board class 12 exams is prohibited. Students can take a look at the important exam guidelines as released by the board.
After mandatory checking, the students will be allowed to enter the examination hall up to 10 minutes before the commencement of the exam. Exam halls are sanitized every day for the students. Students are allowed to wear only slippers for the examination. Closed shoes and socks are strictly prohibited. It is to be noted that Section 144 will be imposed in exam venues and the entrance of unauthorized personnel is banned. If such a situation is found, a First Information Report (FIR) will be filed against him/her.

Candidates are not allowed to carry mobile phones inside the exam hall. Only center superintendents and mobile app operators are allowed to carry one. However, if a student is found carrying a mobile phone, FIR will be lodged and s/he will be subjected to suspension.
In view of protection from COVID-19, it is mandatory for the students to wear a face mask, hand sanitizer, gloves. Any kind of electronic device like calculator, mobile phone, bluetooth devices, etc are prohibited. Students will not be allowed to leave the exam hall until the shift is over.
The exam invigilators will take OMR answer sheets 1.30 hours after the commencement of the examination. After this, the descriptive answer sheet will be taken at the end of the examination.
If there is any issue in the photo printed on the Bihar board 12th admit card 2021, in such a case, students can get entry inside the examination hall by showing their Aadhar card, Voter ID, PAN card. It is to be noted that students will need to carry an original copy of the id proof.
Furthermore, in order to curb cheating during the examination, Section 144 (Section 144) will be applicable up to a distance of 200 meters around all examining centers. Also, each test center is equipped with CCTV Camera. One invigilator is assigned for every 25 students and at least two invigilators in one room. There will also be one videographer for every 500 students who will make videos of the exam.
Bihar board is the first state board which is conducting the annual examinations in the midst of the COVID-9 pandemic. This year, a total of 13,50,507 students are appearing for Bihar Board inter exam. Out of these, about 6.50 lakh are female students and 7 lakh are male. The maximum number of students who have registered in the Arts stream which is 7,30,568 followed by 5,45,401 in science and 74,024 students in commerce.
The Intermediate exam is going to be conducted at a total of 1473 centers in the state. The exams are going to be held in two shifts – from 9.30 am to 12.45 am and then from 1.45 am to 5 pm.
