Board of Secondary Education, (BSE) Odisha successfully concluded the class 10 Summative Assessment 1 today, January 08, 2022. All the subjects’ exams have been conducted in a tenure of 4 days which was held from January 05 to January 08, 2022, respectively. The exams were conducted in different slots in various affiliated centers across the state. Students are now awaiting the release of provisional answer keys for the BSEO Class 10 SA 2021-22 examination. However, the officials will take some time before releasing the answer keys on their official website at bseodisha.ac.in.
According to the official BSEO Class 10 SA 1 schedule, the exams commenced on January 5, 2022. Mathematics and First Language subjects were conducted on the first day of the assessment. Social Science and Second language exams were conducted on January 06, 2022, followed by Science and several other subjects on January 07, 2022, respectively. The last summative assessment was concluded on January 08, 2022, along with the TLV practicals.
As per the scheduled pattern, the SA 1 exams were held in two shifts from 9.00 AM to 10.00 AM and from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm respectively. 40 questions were to be answered for 40 marks in each subject. The papers consisted of objective-based questions, framed from the syllabus prescribed by the BSE, Odisha for the year 2021-22. Students were asked to mark their responses on the OMR sheet provided at their respective examination centers.

Due to the objective nature of the exam, students are expecting the class 10 SA 1 exam answer keys at the soonest. The official answer keys will take long before releasing on the official website of BSE, Odisha. However several educators, teachers, and subject experts have released the unofficial answer keys online. Students can check the answer keys for different subjects online posted by these educators, to get a rough idea of their scores and performance in every subject.
In case the general Board examinations could not be conducted, the marks scored in the SA 1 examination will be of great consideration in the evaluation process, said the Minister. Hence it will be highly efficient if all the students go through the exam analysis and check the unofficial answer keys released by educators online. Score calculated using unofficial answer keys may differ a little from the actual one. However it is uncertain and depends on the genuineness of the creator posting it. They can also refer to their state board’s textbook to calculate their marks obtained in the SA 1 examination.
