Bihar Public Service Commission, in its recent notification, has advertised 47 vacancies for the recruitment of Mathematics Lecturer in Govt Colleges. The official notification with Advt No. 22/2020 in this interest is released on the BPSC website, bpsc.bih.nic.in. Online registrations start this month from August 25, 2020. The window to submit registration form remains open up to September 11, 2020. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms for the aforementioned posts before September 30, 2020.
Candidates intending to apply for Mathematics Lecturer recruitment must possess a Masters degree in Mathematics with first division. Those who have educational qualification equivalent at Bachelors or Master level are also eligible to apply. Moreover, they must have attained the minimum age limit is 21 years as on August 01, 2020. BPSC has specified that there will be no age limit for this recruitment.
For the online registrations visit the BPSC official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in. Here, click on apply online > BPSC Online Application > Apply Online Link against the recruitment name. While registering, provide a valid email ID and mobile number to receive username and password. Also, note down the submitted application number, registration number and bar code for future reference.
It is mandatory for applicants to make the payment of the application fee. The application form for those candidates who are unable to pay the fee is summarily rejected. So, the general category candidate has to pay Rs. 750/-, Bihar state SC/ ST/ Domicile of Bihar/ Physically handicap candidates have to pay Rs. 200/- as the application fee. The fee can only be submitted online on or before September 16, 2020.
Once candidates have submitted the application form online, they have to submit the same to the “Joint Secretary Exam Controller, Bihar Public Service Commission, 15, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg (Beli Road), Patna 800001”. The last date for the submission of hard copy of form through speed post is September 30, 2020. Along with the application form candidates have to submit 10th mark sheet, degree mark sheet and certificate, postgraduate degree and certificate, PhD certificate (if applicable), SC/ST certificate, Domicile certificate, OBC/ EWS certificate, disability certificate and other relevant documents.
Selection criteria for BPSC Lecturer recruitment comprise of three stages – screening for the academic record and research work, evaluation of the knowledge and written test, Interview. Additional marks, up to 25, are awarded to candidates who are working on contract basis on the post of Lecturer under the department of Science and Technology. The final selection list will be uploaded on the website once the recruitment process is over.
