The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is conducting class 12 practical exams from today onwards, i.e April 1, 2021. For the conduct of the practical examination, the board also released the exam guidelines. The board has made it mandatory for the schools to follow the COVID-19 guidelines during the examination.
The practical exams for class XII regular students start from April 1 and will conclude on April 30. Whereas, the practicals for the private students are scheduled to be held from April 26 to 30, 2021. Typically, for the practical examinations, the board appoints external teachers in more than five schools over a period of 4 to 5 days. However, due to the COVID-19 situation, the board has decided to do away with external invigilators.
RBSE will provide the material for the practical examination to schools including answer sheets, drawing sheets, and graphs. In addition to this, the schools have been instructed to form a team of 5 subject-specialists who will help in conducting the practical exams at the school level. School principals are requested to cooperate with the inspection of the practical exam. After the exams are over, the schools will need to subject-wise marks online at the board’s official website, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
Board Chairman, DP Jalori, for Arts and Science stream, the students will have to appear for 11 practicals with 30 marks each. Students who are going to appear for the practical exams must ensure that they wear the face mask all the time and carry their own personal hand sanitizer. Besides this, science stream students must not forget to carry their lab coats and practical files.
The theory examinations for RBSE classes 10 and 12 will start from May 26 for which it is expected that more than 20 lakh students will appear for the same. The class 10th examination will be conducted between May 6 and May 27, whereas, the class 12th exams are from ay 6 and May 29, 2021.
