Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, will start BITSAT 2019 Slot Booking at 10:00 am, on April 05, 2019. It will start on the official website, bitsadmission.com, and candidates will need application number, gender, date of birth, and e-mail id to do it.
BITSAT 2019 is an online examination, which will be held from May 16 to 26, 2019. In the BITSAT Slot Booking, the candidates need to book the test date and slot. Earlier, the BITSAT slot booking 2019 was to begin on March 28, 2019. However, it was delayed due to the extent of the application deadline. The last date for BITSAT 2019 slot booking has not been announced yet.
Candidates who have submitted the application form and paid the application fee but will not do the booking will also get a slot. For such candidates, the University will automatically do the booking. The slot of BITSAT once booked cannot be changed. BITSAT Test Center was allocated to the candidates on April 3, 2019.
After slot booking, the admit card is issued. The BITSAT 2019 admit card will be released online, on April 12, 2019. In it, all the details about the exam center, date, time, candidate, etc. will be mentioned. It is an important document, which the candidates will have to carry on the exam day. Other than the BITSAT admit card. The candidates will also have carry one pen to the exam hall for signing and doing rough work.
On the exam day, the fingerprint of the candidates will also be taken. Hence, candidates must ensure that they do not put henna or paint on their hands.
BITSAT 2019 will be held in computer based mode. It will be held in 64 centers, across 50 cities in India and one in Dubai. The candidates will get 150 questions in the exam and all these will be of multiple choice type. The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics / Biology. The candidate who opted for B.E admission will get Maths question and those who opted for B.Pharm admission will get Biology questions.
Each question in the exam will be of 3 marks and for choosing the wrong answer, negative marking of 1 marks will be done. If the candidates will not choose any answer then the marks will neither be awarded or deducted. Candidates only get 3 hours to solve the question paper. However, those who solve all the questions before the time duration will 12 extra questions to attempt. These questions will only be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology and once the candidates opt for these, they cannot go back.
