The Bihar School Examination Board(BSEB) has declared the results of the Class 12 examination on its official website today on March 16, 2022. The examinations for the Arts, Science and Commerce streams were held from February 1 to 14, 2022. Students who appeared in the examination can check the results from the official website of BSEB biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in by entering their roll number and roll code.
Overall pass percentage at 80.15%

The overall pass percentage has increased considerably this year. Compared to the previous year when the pass percentage was 78.04%, there is an increase of around 2% this year with the overall pass percentage standing at 80.15%. A total of 13,25,749 students had appeared in the examination this year. The overall pass percentage in the Arts stream is 79.53%, Commerce stream is 90.38% and Science stream is 83.7%.
As per a report by The Indian Express, girls dominated the Bihar board class 12 exam results this year. Girls overall pass percentage stood more than 5% ahead of the boys. Pass percentage of boys and girls is analysed in the table below:

Meet the Toppers
Along with the results, the education minister also declared the merit list of Bihar board class 12 stream-wise toppers containing the pass percentage, full marks, and other personal details.
Saurav Kumar topped the science stream by securing a total of 472 marks in the examination. In commerce stream, Kumar Gupta secured the first place scoring 473 marks and in the arts stream Sangam Raj has topped the state with a total of 482 marks.
As the results have been published online, students can collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools after a few days. The official website is not opening as of now due to heavy traffic. Students should keep an eye on the official website regularly to access their scorecards. Students should score a minimum of 33% marks to pass the intermediate examination. As the Class 12 results are out, the results of the matric examination will also be released soon by BSEB.
