BSEB has announced the Bihar class 12th board result online at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and biharboardonline.com. This year, from the science stream Sonali Kumari has aced the exam with 94.2% marks. In arts, the toppers are Madhu Bharti and Kailash Kumar Jamui with 92.6% and in commerce, the topper is Sunanda Kumari with 94.2%.
“Toppers are from all over Bihar. It is a good sign for the state that girls are studying and not just doing well but doing best,” said Education Secretary, Sanjay Kumar.
As per the reports, toppers in all the three streams – Science, Arts and Commerce – will receive cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each. The second and third rank holders will get Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000. The top three rank holders will also receive laptops and a kindle e-readers.
Total 13,40,266 appeared in BSEB class 12 boards. Of these, 10,45,950 have passed and thus the overall pass percentage is 78.04%, which has dropped from last year. Last year the pass percentage was 80.44%.
This year 76.28% of students have qualified in the science stream. In the art and commerce stream, the pass percentage has been 77.97% and 91.48% respectively.
BSEB has announced 2021 board exam results for Class 12 students on the official website onlinebseb.in. To check the result candidates have to visit the website of the Bihar Board. On the home page, they have to locate the result link. Then candidates need to login with the login details and check their respective results.
With this BSEB becomes the first board to announce the result in the country.
Last year too, the first ranks in each of the streams were secured by Girls. Last year the overall pass percentage of BSEB Bihar Board 12th result stood at 80.44%. The pass percentage for the Arts stream was 81.44%, the pass percentage for the Commerce stream was 93.26%, and the pass percentage for the Science stream was 77.39%.
In total 13.5 lakh candidates registered for the Bihar Board Class 12 examination. Out of the total number of candidates, 6.5 lakhs were girls and 5.4 lakh were boys. In order to pass the Bihar Board Class 12 Exam 2021, all the candidates need to get a minimum of 33% aggregate marks. Further, if any candidate fails to get minimum marks in BSEB 12th Inter Exam 2021 then he/she has to appear for the compartmental exam.
