Bhasha Sangam Initiative to Familiarise CBSE Students with 22 Schedule VIII Languages-min

As per the latest reports, a revolution has been made by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). Now, the ministry has suggested all the heads of the CBSE schools to follow Bhasha Sangam Initiative. It is a programme under which all the schools or educational institutions will provide the multilingual disclosure to the students. So, all the students of class 10 and 12 who are studying under CBSE board will get the opportunity to explore the various languages under the Schedule VIII of the Constitution of India.

The students will get the chance to learn basic courtesy and communication sentences of the different languages listed in India Constitution Schedule VIII. Regarding this, the Central Board of Secondary Education has released a notification for its all schools to conduct this programme. Bhasha Sangam programme will be conducted from November 27 to December 21, 2018. On each day, the schools will have to teach five sentences for communication to the students in the morning assembly. The schedule is given as on the very first day, the schools will target Assames. After teaching five sentences, the schools will recite five another sentences of Bengali on day 2. Then according to the schedule, the other languages will be taught.

The collaboration has been made between the MHRD, Educational Secretaries of all the states, the chairperson of CBSE, and the Commissioners of all the Kendriya Vidyalaya. For this scheme, the respective schools will associate with a teacher, parent, government servant or a person from the general public who are familiar with the languages and the process will be held in the morning assembly.

The secretary of the school education has also stated that they have directed the schools to carry out the exercise. They have also offered the schools to schedule this scheme according to their convenience, a slight change in the date bound order would be accepted.

With this initiative, the schools will be able to encourage senior students to make posters on the sentences they are taught and try to use them publically. MHRD will award the best schools, blocks, district, and states on the basis of the uploaded or submitted photographs and videos of the linguistic exercise.

The Central of Secondary Education is a national level board which is active regarding the education process in the country. It is well known as CBSE. The board conducts the exams for class 10 and 12 students in the month of February and March. It also provides the results for the same.
