Bharat Electronics Limited is recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Trainee Engineer, Project Engineer. BEL has also released an official notification in this regard at the official website. As per the notification, BEL has announced 54 vacancies for Trainee Engineer and 54 vacancies for Project Engineer. Candidates who are eligible can submit their application form before September 27, 2020.
Applications from only Indian nationals are accepted by BEL. Candidates who are applying for Trainee Engineer must have completed full time BE/ B. Tech (Computer Science) with first class for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates and pass division for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates. Those who have full time BE/ B. Tech (Mechanical/ Computer Science/ Electronics and Communications/ Electronics and Telecommunications) in the first division for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates and pass class for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates can apply for Project Engineer.
Other than the educational qualification, applicants also have to ensure that they meet the specified age limit. To apply for Trainee Engineer, candidate’s age should not exceed that of 25 years. Applicant’s age should not exceed that of 28 years for Project Engineer. The upper age limit is calculated as on September 01, 2020. The application procedure is organised through the official website of the BEL, bel-india.in. Eligible aspirants have to visit the website and submit the application form before the last date as specified. Active email id is required as the information related to the recruitment is sent through the email address provided by them. General/ OBC/ EWS category candidates have to pay a non-refundable applications fee as well. For the post of Trainee Engineer, the application fee is Rs. 200/- and for Project Engineer is Rs. 500/-. The fee can be paid through SBI Collect mode. Candidates have to mention the SBI collect reference number that is generated after successful payment. Payment receipt for the same should also be uploaded along with the form.
Selection for the announced posts depends on various aspects such as the educational qualification, relevant experience, and interview. The complete BEL selection procedure is conducted for 100 marks. 75% marks are allocated to the aggregate marks scored in BE/ B. Tech. Those who have relevant work experience are awarded 10% marks. BEL shortlisted candidates for the interview in 1:5 ratio. The information related to the interview will be intimated to eligible candidates through the email address specified by the candidate. BEL interview round carries 15% marks of the total. Once the interview is concluded, the results will be available on the BEL website.
