Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL), New Delhi is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Consulting Editor, Assistant Consulting Editors, Consulting Language Editors and Professional Designers. BECIL has announced 19 vacancies for the said posts. The last date to submit the BECIL application form is August 25, 2020. Detailed notification in this regard is released recently on becil.com.
The recruitment to these posts is purely on contractual basis. Shortlisted candidates are recruited in the office of the Bureau of Outreach and Communication. A monthly remuneration, depending on the post, are paid to candidates during their service period. Candidates shortlisted as Consulting Editors gets Rs. 1,00,000/- per month, Assistant Consulting Editors receives Rs. 60,000/-, Consulting Language Editors gets Rs. 75,000/- and Professional Designers get Rs. 50,000/-.
To apply for Consulting Editors, a graduate/ post-graduate degree/ diploma in Mass Communication or Journalism is required. Those who have Bachelor degree or Diploma in Fine Arts or Commercial Arts or Applied Art or Graphic Design can apply for Professional Designers post. A graduate degree/ Post Graduate/ Diploma preferable in Mass Communication or Journalism is required for Assistant Consulting Editors. Candidates applying for Consulting Language Editors must have graduate/ post-graduate degree/ Diploma preferable in Mass Communication or Journalism. They should have language proficiency in any one of the following languages, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Odiya and Urdu with good command over Hindi and English language.
A minimum of 15 years of work experience is required for Consulting Editor post. Those applying for Assistant Consulting Editor post should have a minimum of 05 years of work experience. 02-03 years of work experience is necessary to be eligible for Professional Designer.
Eligible candidates can submit their forms for BECIL recruitment through online mode. They can get the application form link under career > registration form (online) link. Candidates need to register themselves first using the photo, signature, birth certificate/10th certificate, caste certificate, email ID. Those who wish to apply for more than one post should note that they have to register only once. The application fee should only be paid while registration. General/ Women/ OBC/ Ex-servicemen category candidates have to make payment of Rs. 750/- and SC/ST/ EWS candidates have to pay Rs. 450 as the application fee. The BECIL recruitment application fee can be paid via credit card, Debit card, net banking, UPI etc.
Candidates are selected based on the interview round that is conducted by BECIL. The conducting body may conduct the interview face to face or through Video Conference System. The complete schedule, venue and other information about the interview will be intimated to candidates later on.
