The Jamia Hamdard University has released the official admission brochure for the Distance Education programme in BBA, BCA, B.Com at jamiahamdard.ac.in. All the UG programmes as mentioned in the official brochure have been approved by the UGC. The candidates seeking admission to the University can apply through either the online or the offline mode by 30 April 2021. The internal students of Jamia Hamdard University are eligible to receive a discount of 50% on the programme fee.
As per the eligibility criteria, the candidate must have completed the class 12th from a recognised State Board of Secondary Education or a Government recognised Madarsa Board to apply. The University has not mentioned any age criteria or minimum aggregate marks on the official brochure, as of now.
The candidates willing to apply through offline mode are required to download the application form from the official website. Post this, they have to enter their details, Academic details, Address, Programme code, Candidate’s signature, Details of the Demand Draft etc. Then, the candidates have to attach their self-attested documents with the application form. In addition to this, a Demand Draft having the value of the first semester fees of the relevant programme drawn in the name of Jamia Hamdard payable at New Delhi is also to be attached with the application form. In the end, the candidates have to send the form via courier/Speed post to Director, Centre for Distance and Online Education, Jamia Hamdard, First Floor, Hamdard Convention Centre, Jamia Hamdard, Hamdard Nagar, Mehrauli – Badarpur Road, New Delhi – 110 062.
The candidates choosing the online method have to repeat all the steps as mentioned for the offline mode. However, the fee payment has to be done online through an NEFT transaction on the following account number, Bank Name: Jammu & Kashmir Bank, Name of Account Holder: JAMIA HAMDARD SODL Fee A/C, Account Number: 0387010100001746, IFSC Code: JAKA0OKHLAA (where 5th digit is Zero followed by alphabet “O”), Branch: OKHLA Industrial Area, Phase – II, New Delhi – 110 020, Branch Code: 0387. Once the payment is done, the candidates have to mention the transaction code on the application form. Post this, the candidates have to scan the application form and other documents. Once this is done, the candidate has to draft a mail with the subject line, Application for Admission to the Programme (BCA/B.COM/BBA), attach the application form with the documents along with the screenshot of the NEFT transaction and send it to the official mail id of the University i.e. [email protected] The candidates are also required to send the hard copy of the same documents to the address of Jamia Hamdard University.
