Andhra Pradesh Public Services Commission (APPSC) released the revised answer key for Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) mains exam yesterday. Answers of 34 questions have been changed, and 31 questions have been deleted. The commission further invites objections to the revised answer key for notification 09/2018 by September 5.
In the last few exams of APPSC, it has been observed that the result of an exam is announced within one month of release of revised answer key. This has happened with the exams held for recruitment of forest beat officer, panchayat secretary, group 2. If the commission follows a similar timeline for the APPSC AEE recruitment 2019, then result of the mains exam is anticipated by September end.
As regards to the revised answer key, the state’s public service commission has published a webnote, that details all the changes in the revised key as well as how to submit objections to it. And the revised keys are published separately for paper 1, and subject wise for paper 2 and 3. To access any of them, one has to visit the official website, psc.ap.gov.in. The notification says, “the objections received on the questions and initial key were referred to the subject experts for consideration and based on the recommendations of the subject experts, the revised key for subject papers are hereby notified”.
The candidates who have appeared for APPSC AEE mains examination can download the revised answer key by going to the official website. On the homepage, search for the notification no. 09/2018 – Assistant Executive Engineers in Various Engineering Services (General Recruitment). The mains exam was held on May 14 and 15. After which, initial key was released on June 05. Now, candidates who wish to raise objections against the revised answer key can do so by using the format for submission of objections available under “Key and Objections” on the commission’s website. In it, candidates have to provide details of their name, hall ticket number, exam name, address and mobile number. Then they have to provide the question ID, description of the question, details of the objections not more than 100 words, a standard proof in support of the objections to be written in 100 words.
It is pertinent to not that a separate objection sheets should be submitted for each paper. The particulars have to be filled up in the above said format and enclose it along with the copy of hall ticket without which the objections would not be considered. Furthermore, objections are to be sent via post or else he/she have to physically reach the commission’s office on or before the last date. No objections will be examined after the due date.
APPSC will not entertain the objections received through email / SMS / phone or any other mode except post. The candidates are advised to file their objections well in advance as the commission will not be responsible for any postal delay.
