Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is all set to begin the web counselling process for all those who successfully qualified for the AP ECET 2021 examination. The Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) 2021 was conducted on September 19, 2021. Results for the same were announced on October 01, 2021. Based on the results, candidates who passed the test will have to register for the counselling process as well as pay the fee on or before November 18, 2021. APSCHE recently issued a detailed notification announcing the schedule for the AP ECET 2021 counselling process. Accordingly, the entire counselling process, right from online registration, fee payment, online certificate verification, and option entry will take place within the timeline of November 15-24, 2021. All candidates who have passed the entrance test must complete the web counselling formalities on the official portal sche.ap.gov.in.
As mentioned in the detailed notification, this is only the 1st phase of admissions. Dates for the remaining phases will be informed in due course of time in case colleges have vacant seats. In this counselling process, candidates must apply for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy colleges, based on their AP ECET 2021 score. Based on the number of seats available and reservation criteria, candidates will be granted admission for the academic year 2021-22.
The detailed AP ECET 2021 notification states that the online registration and fee payment process shall be held from November 15 to 18, 2021. The online verification of certificates is scheduled to begin from tomorrow, November 16, 2021, onward. This process shall continue till November 19, 2021.
In case of centralised verification, APSCHE has called candidates of specific ranks and categories each day. On November 18, 2021, candidates from CAP (1-20,000 ranks), NCC ( 1-15,000 ranks) and Sports & Games (1-15,000 ranks) have been called. Similarly, on November 19, 2021, candidates from PH (1-last rank), NCC (15,001-last rank), Sports & Games (15,001 – to last rank) and CAP (20,001- last rank) categories.
Eligible candidates who have registered for the counselling process can exercise their web options from November 21 to 23, 2021, on the official website. In case of any mistakes in filling these options, candidates can change or rectify them on November 24, 2021. APSCHE will be allocating seats to all registered candidates on November 27, 2021, based on their preferences and vacant seats.
After allotment of seats, candidates are expected to report to their allotted colleges to confirm their admission. Classwork and lectures will commence from November 27, 2021, for the upcoming academic year.
