Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh has released the Admit Card for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2020. Registered candidates can download the admit card from the official website upsee.nic.in. UPSEE is an entrance test conducted every year in a pen-paper based format at the allotted centres. Students who wish to pursue Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Design (M. Des), Master of Architecture (B. Arch) and Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharma) apply for this examination. This year, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 20, 2020.
Registered candidates can download the UPSEE 2020 Admit Card by following the simple steps given here. ”>> They have to go to the home page first and then click on the option “Download Admit Card for M.Tech, M.Des, M.Pharma and M.Arch courses”. Fill in the required details like application number, password and the given security pin. By clicking on “sign-in”, candidates can download their admit card and print a copy for future reference.
The UPSEE 2020 Admit Card includes essential information about the candidate like name, roll number, date of birth, paper name, father’s name, mother’s name, category, gender, etc. It also shows important exam details like exam centre and address, exam date and time, and important instructions issued by AKTU. Candidates are advised to not fold the admit card as it can distort the bar code printed on it.
It is mandatory for candidates to bring a hard-cope of the UPSEE 2020 Admit Card to the exam centre. No entry is permitted without the admit card. Candidates are also advised to carry the same ID proof as the one they had used to apply for the examination. This ID proof may be passport, Aadhaar card, Driving License, school/college identity card, etc. Alongside these documents, candidates are also instructed to carry passport-sized photographs and a blue/black ball-pen to mark the OMR sheet.
Candidates are prohibited from bringing items like study material, calculators, mobile phones, Bluetooth Devices, etc. to the exam centre. They must also make sure to reach the exam hall an hour before the exam. No entry is given to those who reach once the exam begins. The UPSEE 2020 entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 20, 2020 through pen-paper based format. The exam duration differs for different papers. Papers 1 and 2 are of three hours, paper 3 is of two hours 30 minutes and papers 4, 5, 6 and 7 are of two hours duration. The exam includes Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and is available in both English and Hindi languages.
