AFCAT Admit Card 2019 Delayed

Indian Air Force (IAF) was supposed to release AFCAT Admit Card 2019 for 02/2019 today. However it has just now been notified at afcat.cdac.in that the admit card will be released three days later, on August 5, 2019 at 1 pm. It was reported by Aglasem earlier today that as per a conversation with the helpline there were chances of there being a delay in issuance of call letter. The notice board of afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/ says “Admit Card for AFCAT 02/2019 will be available for download through Candidate Login from 05 August 2019 (1:00 PM) onward “.

No explanation regarding delay in issuing the admit card has been provided by IAF / CDAC. It could be due to technical issues, or the process of generating admit cards and uploading the same in portal may have taken longer than anticipated. The online applications were last accepted until June 30, 2019, that was over a month ago. In the meantime IAF had also accepted Airmen Group X and Y application forms from July 1 to 18, 2019.

No separate link for admit card download will be provided; it can be downloaded from the candidate login already existing on the official website. AFCAT Admit Card 2019 will be released at candidate login at afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/. The same can be downloaded by applicants of AFCAT 02/2019 using email ID and password.

It will be necessary to print it in color and paste a self attested photograph, same as uploaded in application form, in space provided. Entry to exam hall will be given upon showing the admit card and a photo identity proof such as college ID, passport, driving license, aadhaar card, PAN card, voters ID card. Reporting time and center for exam shall be printed in the call letter.

Only admit card issuance has been postponed; exam date and other events shall be held as per schedule. The Air Force Common Admission Test for flying branch and ground duty branches will be held on August 24 and 25, 2019.

Mock test has already been launched at the login. To access the mock tests, visit afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/ and click on Candidate Login. Then click on AFCAT 02/2019 to reach the login page. On this page, link of MOCK TEST is visible that leads to four mock tests / sample papers titled AFCAT AA Sample Question Paper, AFCAT AC Sample Question Paper, AFCAT AL Sample Question Paper, and AFCAT AM Sample Question Paper. Each of them lead to an online computer based test that replicates the actual exam. With this, test takers can get an idea of the look and feel of the exam before attempting it on the exam day.
