Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Ministry of youth, affairs and sports, Government of India, is looking for passionate and committed youth for filling up the 337 vacancies. To invite applications for NYKS recruitment 2019, online form has been released at nyks.nic.in. Last date to apply is August 7.
Class 10th pass can apply for Multi Tasking Staff (23 vacancies). Class 12th pass can apply for Stenographer Grade-II (23 vacancies), Lower Division Clerk (12 vacancies).
Bachelors degree is required for Senior Hindi Translator (1 vacancy), Assistant (38 vacancies), Librarian (1 vacancy), Computer Operator (4 vacancies), Accounts Clerk-Cum-Typist (58 vacancies).
Masters degree is required for District Youth Coordinator (160 vacancies), Junior Comp. Programmer (17 vacancies). Essential and desirable qualifications are detailed for each post in the notification.
The age limit for the district youth coordinator, Junior computer programmer, senior Hindi translator, assistant, librarian, computer operator, accounts clerk cum typists and for Lower division clerk post is 28 years or below as on 1.1.2019.
For all other posts, age limit is calculated as on closing date of application. Age limit for stenographer grade II is between 18 to 27 years. That for Multi tasking staff is between 18 to 25 years. For LDC, assistant, librarian, computer operator, accounts clerk cum typist, it is 28 years or below.

Online registration form contains five segments namely basic info, photo and signature, details, preview, uploads, payment. Scanned photograph of 4.5cm x 3.5cm size and the signature written in a black ink and not be written in capital letters have to be uploaded.
The registration fee is Rs 700 for general and OBC male candidates, Rs 350 for general and OBC female candidates. There is no fee for SC, ST, PwD, ESM candidates.

About NYKS: In 1972, Nehru Yuva Kendras were set up with the motive of providing rural youth a place to develop their personality and skills. Then Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, NYKS, was established in 1987-88 under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports under GOI to look after all Nehru Yuva Kendras. Voluntary action groups in village levels today play an important role in nation building activities.
