10% More Registrations for Bihar Board Class 12 Exams 2019; Total 13,15,371 Candidates Appearing

10% More Registrations for Bihar Board Class 12 Exams 2019

Bihar Board Exams 2019 has been started. The first exam was on February 06, 2019. It was held for Biology (I.Sc)/ R.B. Hindi (Vocational Course) and Philosophy (I.A )/ Entrepreneurship (I.Com). These exams were conducted in two shifts i.e. from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and from 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm. For the Bihar Board exams, this year, around 13,15,371 candidates have appeared for the exams. Last year, the number of students who enrolled in the exams was 11,92,053. So, as compared the previous year, in the current year, there is an increment of 10% of students who sit in the exams.

Bihar Board Chairman, Mr. Anand Kishore has said that the increment has happened due to the candidates who had failed in the last year’s exams. He further added that this time the board will make sure that the exams will be held in a free and fair manner. Also, the Bihar Board has made everything computerized to avoid any mishappening in the exams. For the corrections in the final admit card, the board had released the dummy admit card too.

Commerce: 64,267

As per the data shared by the Bihar School Education Board, in the current year, a total of 13,15,371 students are enrolling in the exams for class 12. Out of these students, 7,62,153 are boys while the number of girls who are sitting in the exams is 5,53,198. Talking about the statistics stream wise, then 6,87,059 students are taking part in the Science exams. In the Arts stream, the number of candidates who are appearing for the exams is 5,63,311. The least number of candidates are enrolling for the Commerce stream and i.e. 64,267. Around 734 students are appearing for the Vocational stream exams.

The students are appearing for Class 12 exams in 1339 examination centres. The number of candidates who are writing the exams of all the streams is 71,313 in the capital itself. The board has appointed 82 exam centres in the capital for the exams. Out of the total centres around 573 have been allotted to the female students only.

Today i.e. on February 11, 2019, the students are sitting for Chemistry (I.Sc.) in the first shift while in the second shift the exam for Political Science (I.A.)/ Vocational Trade – II (Vocational Course) will be conducted. The last exam will be conducted on February 16, 2019. It will be held for Home Science (I.A.)/ Economics (I.Com.). The board will conduct the exams in the first shift. No exam is scheduled in the second shift on February 16.
