Maharashtra SSC Social Science Exam Pattern Change

Maharashtra SSC Examinations 2019 about to begin. But before that board has come up with great relief for the students of class 10. As per the reports, the state education department has decided not to include class 9 questions in Maharashtra SSC Social Science paper. The board has issued the circular for the same at the state level. As per the circular, students of class 10th will not be asked to attempt the previous year questions in Social Science.

Board examinations are coming near and students are taking a lot of stress. Therefore, keeping in mind the student’s benefits Maharashtra board has come up with this major change in the exam pattern. But the change has been made for one subject only. For the rest of the subjects, students will be tested on the basis of previous year questions too.

In the language subjects, the students need to prepare the writing and grammar questions from the previous year. While in Science and Maths (both 1 and 2) papers the students will receive the questions of 40 marks weightage on the basis of class 9 concepts and formulas. But for History, Geography and Political Science students provided the relaxation for not preparing the previous year questions.

For the academic year 2018-19, the Maharashtra board has come up with the new exam pattern. This year no student will not be allowed to appear for the oral examinations and need to attempt the questions of total 100 marks papers except the maths and science.

With the change in the pattern of the question paper, the students of class 10th have already in stress. Therefore, this decision of the education department might give great relief to some extent. However, some parents are not happy. According to them, the department has to take the decision a bit earlier. As by the month of December, most of the students have completed with their preparation and in the month of January, the students appeared for the preliminary exams. So, if the Maharashtra education department announced this change in the beginning then this would save the time of the students.

Maharashtra SSC examinations 2019 are going to commence from March 01 and will continue till March 22. The examinations are going to start in 19 days. So, students are advised there is no need to worry. Start revising the topics you have prepared with a calm and stress-free mind.

In the academic year 2016-17 the board has revised the curriculum of class 9 and 10. Along with this, to test the ability of students of how much they can retain from their previous years syllabus of class 9th would consist 20% weightage in the board exams. So, by realizing the not so much in Social Science subject Maharashtra board has brought up this change in the entire pattern.

All The Best!
