While some news reports are suggesting that the result will be announced by October end, the other reports indicate that it will be available before Diwali, i.e November 07, 2018. Why RRB ALP Result 2018 Can be Announced in Coming Two Days, i.e. By October End
There is a high possibility that RRB might release ALP / Technician result 2018 in these last two days of October. The first reports of result to be announced before Diwali was informed on the basis of statement given by Angraj Mohan, who is Executive Director (Estt) RRB-II, Railway Board, Ministry of Railways. He told media that RRB is trying to announce the result before Diwali and is also trying to announce the score of the candidates by October end, i.e. on or before October 31, 2018. According to this, candidates will get to know their score in two days. However, the RRB ALP merit list might release before Diwali 2018.
Suddenly November 5 has Emerged as New RRB ALP Result Date
Earlier, candidates were confused if the result of RRB ALP will be announced by October end of before Diwali. However, now the reports suggest that RRB will declare the RRB ALP 2018 Result on November 05, 2018. The news reports are not giving any reason for this result date but are ensuring that RRB has prepared the result and is revising it to ensure that it is error free.
High Possibility RRB will Announced ALP Result 2018 before November 7, 2018 (Before Diwali)
There are 90% chances that RRB will announce the result of RRB ALP 2018 before Diwali 2018, which is on November 07, 2018. RRB officials also told media that the result will be out by Diwali and it also makes sense that the result will be out before the festival because then the official also go on Diwali holiday.
Can RRB announce ALP Result After Diwali?
Despite all the expected dates, there are chances that Indian Railway might not announce RRB ALP Result 2018. Then, RRB will announce it in mid of November 2018. There are also news reports which indicate that RRB ALP Stage 2 CBT will start until November 19, 2018. If that is the case then RRB will have to announce the result by mid November and also issue ALP Stage 2 Admit Cards to the qualified candidates.
RRB is also conducting Group D 2018 examination. The Group D is much bigger examination and will end on December 17, 2018. It will be a little difficult for RRB to conduct both the examinations at the same time but anything can be done, if planned properly.

The result of RRB ALP will be announced online. There is a possibility that either the score and the merit will be announced together or RRB will only announce the names of the qualified candidates. The result will not be send to the candidate at their postal address.
