On February 12, 2019, West Bengal Madhyamik Examinations commenced. But at the same time, the question paper has been allegedly leaked at around 1:43 pm. As per the reports, the image of the first page of the question paper has been shared through WhatsApp and other social media means. The deputy secretary has also received the image at WhatsApp.

At 11: 45 am the question papers were distributed among the students. And the paper was leaked after approximately one hour. Therefore, the board has decided not to cancel the examinations and lodged a complaint against it with Bidhanagar cyber crime department of police. WBBSE president Kalyanmoy Ganguly informed through a press conference.

মাধ্যমিক প্রশ্নপত্র ফাঁস

As per the reports, it is assuming that the paper has been leaked from Kalliachak area and the ones from private schools are involved in this incident. However, an investigation is going to find out the one who is responsible for taking the pictures of the question paper and leaked them through social media.

By interrogating the president he said that the investigation is going and despite this, the paper was conducted smoothly at the state level including the hills. And the examinations will continue as per the schedule.

This year a total 10.66 lakhs students have appeared for West Bengal Madhyamik examinations on the first day of examination. If we look back then a previous year too there was a leak of question paper of physical science. Private schools in Kaliachak and Baishnabnagar were suspected for this incident to happen. Therefore for this year West Bengal board has taken various steps to make ensure that there will be no leaking of questions. At each exam centre one government official has appointed. The question paper was supposed to be open in front of the examinees and not in front of the school office. At the same time, the media was not allowed at the examination centre and the mobile phones were also taken from the teachers who were on duty at the centre. Despite these measures, the paper was leaked.

Students are advised to be focused on their further papers. Do not get involved in accepting and accepting the question papers. This will ruin your future. The Madhyamik (class 10th) examinations will continue till February 22.

West Bengal class 11th and 12th examinations are going to commence from February 26. HS admit card will be issued on February 14, 2019.

All The Best!
