Women and Child Development Department of Gandhinagar district, Gujarat is inviting online applications for the post of Anganwadi Helper and Anganwadi Worker. For this recruitment WCD, Gandhinagar has announced a total of 189 vacancies. Candidates can submit their form to represent their candidature on or before the last date which is August 31, 2020. The recruitment to these posts of Anganwadi Helper and Worker is for the integrated child development service scheme under the Department of Women and Child Development. Out of the total vacancies, WCD has advertised 85 vacancies for Anganwadi Worker and 104 vacancies for Anganwadi Helper.
As per the official notification, applications from only women candidates are invited who is a local resident of the Anganwadi Centre. Candidate’s age should be within the age range of 18 years to 33 years as on the last date of submission of the application form. To apply for Anganwadi Worker post, aspirants must have passed 12th standard before applying. Those who have studied up to 10th class are eligible to apply for Anganwadi Helper post.

Here, they have to tap on the recruitment > Apply > Advertisement for the post of AWW/AWH–GANDHINAGAR > Apply button. The application form can majorly be submitted in 04 steps- registration, fill in the candidate’s information, study details and uploading the required documents. While registering, candidates are asked information related to the district, Taluka, village, Anganwadi, their name in Gujarati and English language and mobile number. For the verification of the mobile number, an OTP is sent to the contact details. Hereafter, candidates can proceed to submit the application form by providing details such as category, educational qualification information date of birth, and upload photograph, signature, date of birth proof, affidavit of Rs. 100/-, residential proof and 10th and 12th pass certificate. Applications once submitted can not be edited. Therefore, candidates are advised to carefully check the Anganwadi Helper & Worker application before submitting.
