Online applications for Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme – 44, course commencing from January 2021, are now available on the official website. Candidates can access the TES 44 online application form through joinindianarmy.nic.in. Indian nationals who have qualified 10+2 standard are eligible to apply for the said post. The Indian Army TES 44 application forms can be submitted on or before September 09, 2020.
During the submission of TES 44 application form, candidates are asked NDA Course Serial and whether they have applied for parallel NDA course or not. This section is relevant for those who have applied for UPSC NDA examination 2020. Such candidates have to tap on the ‘yes’ button to represent their participation in NDA examination. Afterwards, the option to enter the NDA Course Serial Number and NDA UPSC Roll number appear. As per the official notification of UPSC NDA, the NDA course serial number for NDA 1 is 145 and for NDA 2 it is 146. So, candidates have to enter accordingly in the space given for NDA course serial number for. The roll number for NDA will be available on the admit card.
The eligibility criteria for common candidates of TES and NDA remains the same. Candidates must have attained the minimum age limit of 16.5 years. Their upper age limit must not exceed that of 19.5 years. The candidates should not be born before July 02, 2001, and not after July 01, 2004. Unmarried male candidates must go through the eligibility norms before applying. Only those who have passed 10+2 class with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics by obtaining 70% marks or more are eligible. Moreover, aspirants should not have been debarred from any UPSC examination.
Candidates who apply as a common aspirant for TES 44 and NDA & NA parallel course are required to undergo a medical examination. This medical examination is conducted by the Board of Service Medical Officers. In case, aspirants get shortlisted for TES exam before NDA SSB one, they have to undergo medical exam for TES and NDA (AF nd Navy) separately. Candidates who get shortlisted for NDA before TES SSB are not required to appear for TES Medical Exam separately. This is so because the medical status for TES 10+2 is the same as that of NDA (Army) Medical Examination. If aspirants are declared medically unfit or unfit due to absentia in TES and NDA & NA parallel course, they will not be allowed to appear. It’s course number 145 not 146 as joining of both NDA 145 and TES 44 is Jan 2021. And for NDA 146 joining is on July 2021
