Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up vacancies for the posts of Anganwadi Worker & Helper. A detailed recruitment notification is published in this regard at the official website i.e. e-hrms.gujarat.gov.in. Eligible and willing candidates can apply for the aforementioned recruitment starting from July 24, 2020. The last date of submission of applications online at the specified website is August 13, 2020.
As per the notification, there are 237 vacancies available in all. The vacancies are available under the administrative control of ICDS and in the district of Bharuch, Gujarat only. There are 119 vacancies available for the post of Anganwadi Worker. The rest of the 118 vacancies are available for the post of Anganwadi Helper. Female candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions can send their applications as per directives in the official notification to apply for the recruitment. The selection of the eligible candidates is to be done on the basis of merit and personal interview. The merit list is drawn as per the qualification of the candidate.
Candidates who have attained the minimum age of 18 years are eligible to apply for the recruitment. The upper age limit is also specified and candidates who have attained an age of more than 33 years are not eligible to apply. In addition to compliance with the age limitations, candidates must also comply with the specified minimum educational qualifications. The minimum qualification required to apply for the post of Anganwadi Worker is Class 12th pass. However, candidates who have passed Class 10th can apply for the post of Anganwadi Helper.
