Women & Child Development (WCD) Department, Amreli is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Anganwadi Helper and Anganwadi Worker. The official notification for the same with “Advertisement for the post of AWW / AWH – AMRELI (1044)” is available on the official website, e-hrms.gujarat.gov.in. The conducting body has announced a total of 203 vacancies for Anganwadi Worker and Helper. Aspirants are shortlisted to serve in the Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS) scheme under the Department of Women and Child Development. Candidates interested in the recruitment can submit their applications through the online procedure on or before August 13, 2020.
Out of the total vacancies, 84 are announced for Anganwadi Worker and 119 are announced for Anganwadi Helper. Only women candidates can apply for the announced posts. They should be a local resident of the Anganwadi Centre area at the time of applying. Candidates must have completed 18 years as on August 13, 2020. They must not exceed 33 years as on the last date of the submission of the application form. To apply for Anganwadi Worker, candidates must have studied up to 12th standard. They must have studied 10th/12th standard in Gujarat state only. Those who have studied up to 10th standard can submit their applications for Anganwadi Tedagar (Helper). Candidates who possess higher qualification than the above mentioned can also apply.
Eligible candidates can submit their application form by visiting the official website, e-hrms.gujarat.gov.in. Reaching the website, they have to click on the recruitment > Apply > Advertisement for the post of AWW/AWH–AMRELI > Apply. It is suggested to read the instructions before application procedure. Candidates have to first register themselves by entering the district, taluka, village, Anganwadi. They also have to enter their names in Gujarati and English. An OTP is sent to the mobile number for the verification. After successful registration, the registration number gets displayed on the screen.
In the application form, candidates have to enter their educational qualification, date of birth, category, and other relevant information. They also have to upload certain documents which include, the photograph, signature, affidavit of Rs. 100/-, date of birth proof, certificate of local residence, Standard 10th and 12th pass certificate, Diploma course or any other relevant documents.
A merit list is prepared by the conducting body to shortlist the eligible candidates for the announced posts. The list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the educational qualification, age and other aspects. Based on this, candidates are appointed at different Anganwadi centres. Candidate can check the list of the shortlisted candidates from e-hrms.gujarat.gov.in.
