National Institute of Medical Health and Neuro Sciences has published a notification for the recruitment of Sector Manager, Project Physician and Research Assistant. The official notification with “NIMH/PROJ./Notif./DBT/SA/Various/2020-21” is available on the official website, nimhans.ac.in. The recruitment is announced to fill up 01 vacant posts under Sector Manager, 03 under Research Assistant and 01 under Project Physician. Aspirants are shortlisted for a short period on a contractual basis. Candidates interested in the recruitment can submit their forms on or before August 09, 2020.
The recruitment to the announced posts is for DBT funded project with the title “Dementia Science Programme: Incidence/Prevalence/Risk analysis of dementia and basic research thereof”. This project is led by Dr Suvarna Alladi, Professor of Neurology and Principal Investigator. Those who are shortlisted as Sector Manager gets a monthly salary of Rs. 30,000/-, Research Assistant receives Rs. 25,000/-, and Project Physician gets Rs. 45,000/-.
Candidates who have acquired Master’s in Sociology/Rural Development/Economics/ Human Resources/ Social Work/ Psychology with first division can submit their forms for Sector Manager post. To apply for Research Assistant, candidates must have a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology/ Psychology/ Social Work. Those who have MBBS/ BAMS/ BHMA/ BDS degree can apply for Project Physician post. Candidates who have MPH along what the MBBS/ BAMS/ BHMA/ BDS are given preference. Along with the education qualification, candidates should comply with the age limit. For all the post announced the upper age limit is 40 years. Moreover, candidates must know how to write and speak Kannada languages.
Eligible candidates can submit their forms through email only. Aspirants have to submit resume/ CV and a cover letter explaining the eligibility of the candidates for the position they are applying for. They have to mention the Notification Number and Date, Position Applied for, email Id, contact number and postal address with the mail. They shall submit only these two documents to [email protected]. Candidates are not required to submit the degree certification or any other documents with the form.
Eligible candidates are shortlisted for the interview round. They have to be present for the interview that is conducted through a video conference. The schedule including the date, time will be intimated later to the shortlisted candidates. Candidates who get shortlisted for the Sector Manager posts are recruited for 06 months. Those who are shortlisted as Research Assistant have to undergo one-month training during which they are evaluated. Their initial appointment is for two months which is extendable up to 18 months. Candidates who are shortlisted for Project Physician are also shortlisted for 02 months. Their service period is extended based on their performance.
