WBJEE Board has changed the dates for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2019 (WBJEE), examination date now has been postponed by a week to May 26, 2019. Earlier the entrance test was to be held on May 19, 2019, but due to the clashing of dates with JEE Advanced the dates of WBJEE 2019 Exam has been revised.
The board took such decision keeping in mind that many candidates would have been troubled as both JEE Advanced and WBJEE examinations are conducted for, a similar platform, on the national level. Also, the date for WBJEE 2019 Admit card and Result declaration has been changed from May 7, 2019, to May 14, 2019, and June 25, 2019, to July 2, 2019, respectively.
However, the new dates of WBJEE 2019 are now clashing with the examination date of AIIMS MBBS 2019 that is to be held on May 25 and 26, 2019. Many candidates do take both the examination. Mostly those candidates who take both Mathematics and Biology in class 12th apply for such examinations together. Such candidates might face problems again with the change in dates.
The candidates who will apply for both AIIMS MBBS 2019 and WBJEE 2019 examination can wait for any further updates by WBJEE as the new examination date announced is tentative and can be changed due to the clash in examination further.
The application form for WBJEE 2019 will be made available from December 26, 2019, to January 22, 2019, on the official website wbjeeb.in. Candidate will have to visit the website and apply through online mode only. An application fee of Rs. 500 will be chared by the board that has to be paid online through debit card/credit card or net banking only. Candidates will have to keep some of the documents handy before applying for WBJEE 2019. The list of documents that will be needed by candidates at the time of filling application form is Class 10th certificate, valid identification proof Id proof, A valid email id, Income certificate, Scanned images, and credit card/ debit card detail.
Candidates who are willing to take engineering as a career after high school can apply for WBJEE. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) was started in the year 1962 by the Government of West Bengal to impart education in the field of engineering, technology, Pharmacy and architecture courses in various institutions in West Bengal.
