West Bengal Health Recruitment Board is inviting applications for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Superintendent (Non-Medical), Grade II. A detailed recruitment notification is published in this regard at the official website i.e. wbhrb.in. A total of 105 vacancies are advertised for the aforementioned post. Eligible candidates having Indian citizenship can apply for the recruitment at the website as per the official schedule. The online application process is commencing on July 24, 2020. The last date to apply online is July 30, 2020, until 8.00 PM.
As per the official notification, the vacancies are available in West Bengal General Service under the Department of Health & Family Welfare. Reservations of vacancies are applicable as there 31 unreserved posts. In addition, 36 & 18 posts are reserved for SC & ST candidates respectively. 7 vacancies are reserved for BC Category A candidates while 6 vacancies are reserved for BC Category B candidates. 7 vacancies are reserved for PWD candidates.
The selection of eligible applicants are selected through interview carrying 15 marks. In addition, 40 marks are allocated for having a degree in any discipline, 25 marks are allocated for having a PG degree in Hospital Management/Hospital Administration and 20 marks are allocated for having managerial/administrative experience of not less than 02 years in a medical care facility of at least 200 bed capacity. Appointed candidates are entitled to receive total minimum emoluments of Rs 40,200 per month including DA, NPP & other allowances and excluding HRA.
Before applying online, candidates are advised to ensure that they comply with the specified minimum eligibility criteria. It is essential that candidates have a degree in any discipline from a recognized University. In addition, the knowledge of speaking & writing in the Bengali language is essential. Candidates must also have a Post Graduate degree/diploma in Hospital Administration or Hospital Management. 02 years of minimum experience in a 200 or more bed medical facility is desirable. The maximum age of such applicants cannot be more than 36 years as on 01.01.2020. However, relaxations on the maximum age can be availed as per government rules by candidates belonging to special reserved categories.
An application fee of Rs 210 must be paid through internet banking mode only in any bank participating in the GRIPS system of the WB government at the Government Receipt Head of Account 00510010400216. Fees paid through any other mode are not accepted. However, SC/ST are exempted from the payment of fees. The application process is conducted online at the aforementioned official website only. At first, candidates have to register at the website using mobile number/email as applicable to generate the login credentials. Thereafter, following the payment of fees, candidates must log in again to complete the application process. All applicants are advised to go through the official notification before applying.
