As per the latest update, the WB CM Mamata Banerjee has made an important announcement regarding the West Bengal HS examination 2021. WBCHSE Notification has been circulating on social media as per which the Class 12 exams from July 23, 2021. In the WBCHSE Notification Annexure 1, 2, various important decisions have been made for WBCHSE HS exams by the Department of Higher Education in light of the pandemic situation in approval with the School Education Department Government of West Bengal.
The Higher Secondary Examinations are scheduled to be held from July 23, 2021, and will continue till August 3, 2021. However, this year, the board will conduct the exam for 15 language subjects and 16 elective subjects. As per the media report, around 8.5 lakh Class 12 students are estimated to appear for the West Bengal board exam 2021. Moreover, students will need to appear for the exam from their respective schools, i.e home venues.

>> WB HS 2021 exam dates announced. Class 12 examinations to start from July 23 till August 3, 2021.
>> The exam will be concluded in 9 working days.
>> The class 12 exams are going to be held in a single shift from 12 noon to 1:30 pm.
>> No examinations are going to held for 19 subjects.
>> If there is an Elective Subject in any of the 19 subjects, then in such a case, the average number of written tests will be assigned to that subject.
>> The HS examinations are going to be held in the same manner in which the class 12 exams are generally conducted in the West Bengal board, i.e. in the Part-A and Part-B system of each subject.
>> Furthermore, the admit card of Higher Secondary and Registration Certificate of XI along with other necessary materials will be distributed by the board from July 12, 2021, at 11 am. The students can collect their documents from 55 designated distribution centers (Cam) of Parliament.
>> The board will also provide Covide Guide Line Annexure-III to the students in their respective schools in accordance with the Covid Health Rules and Guidelines.
Earlier, WB CM Mamata Banerjee announced tentative dates for the upcoming WB HS Exam 2021 would be held in the last week of July 2021. Moreover, the Student Federation of India (SFI) also reached out to the West Bengal Education Minister urging him to ensure that no student is suffered due to their decision and urged the state government to hold the examinations. SFI urged the state government to adopt uniform and at par evaluation criteria for students of Uccha Madhyamik Classes.
