The WBJEEB has announced the exam dates for the WB ANM GNM 2022 on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. As per the official notice released, the examination for both posts is going to be held on June 11 and 12, 2022. The notice also says that online application form filling is going to begin on January 04 to 21, 2022.
The application form correction for WB ANM GNM 2022 is going to be activated only from January 22 to 24, 2022. Candidates can download their admit card from June 02, 2022, and the result shall be announced in the first week of July 2022. The official notification is going to be released soon on the official website of the board.
Earlier today, the board had released the exam pattern and syllabus for both the posts i.e. ANM (Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery) and GNM (General Nursing Midwifery). Only those candidates who have cleared 10+2 with PCB from a recognized board and are within the age limit of 17 to 35 years can apply for this post. This course is only for the candidates who belong to the West Bengal state and have spent at least 5 years in the state.
As per the WB ANM GNM 2022 notice released by the board, the written examination is going to have 100 questions from six sections General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Physical Science, Life Science, English, and Mathematics. The examination is going to have categories namely categories 1 and 2. The multiple-choice based questions that are asked in the first category will account for 1 mark. Whereas the questions in the second category will fetch 2-marks. The question paper is going to be bilingual and the same will be available in English and Bengali. The total duration assigned to complete the WB GNM ANM 2022 is 1.30 hours.
As per the official brochure of the previous year, there shall be no merit list but a rank card is going to be available and the candidates will be awarded rank as per the marks scored in the examination. After announcing the rank card, the complete schedule for the counseling will be released on the official website. The candidates have to initially register for the online counseling round and then the authorities assign colleges to them, based on their ranks in the WB GNM ANM 2022 exam.
