The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the tentative schedule for the Joint Entrance for Post Basic Nursing (JEPBN) course 2022. The test will be conducted for admission to post basic B.Sc. Nursing courses. Candidates aspiring to appear for the examination can now check the tentative examination schedule from wbjeeb.nic.in. As per the schedule, the examination will be conducted on May 15, 2022. The online application process will begin on January 13 and continue till January 17, 2022.

Right after the online application closes on January 17, 2022; the correction period will commence on January 18, 2022. The window will remain open for one day and the period will end on January 19, 2022. The admit cards for JEPBN 2022 will be released on May 10, 2022. Similarly, the results will be declared in the last week of May 2022.
JEPBN 2022 will be in the form of an OMR-based test. Candidates qualifying for this exam will be eligible for post-basic B.Sc. Nursing course in various government and self-financed institutes in West Bengal. As per sources, the examination will be held in an offline mode. In case the pandemic persists, then the JEPBN 2022 examination will be held adhering to strict precautions.
The schedule also mentions the dates for examination, application, etc. for other exams such as JELET 2022, JEPAS (PG) 2021, JENPAS (UG) 2022, JEMScN 2022, WBJEE 2022, JECA 2022, and ANM & GNM 2022. As per the previous year’s pattern, the question paper for JEPBN comprises 100 MCQ-type questions. Each question has four alternative options, out of which the candidate has to select the correct one. The question paper will be based on the GNM syllabus. There will be two parts to the question paper. The first part has 40 questions and the second part will have 60 questions. For every correct answer, 01 mark will be awarded while for every incorrect answer, ¼ marks will be deducted. The duration of the examination will be 90 minutes.
