The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the exam schedule for the WBJEEB JECA 2022 examination. The board has released an entire schedule for various Engineering, Pharmacy, and Architecture entrance exams on its official site. As per the official schedule, the Joint Entrance for admission into the MCA course (JECA) exam will be conducted on May 15, 2022. The exam date has been officially released on the WBJEEB website at wbjeeb.nic.in. Interested candidates must note that the tests will be held in an online pen-and-paper mode.
The application process for WBJEEB JECA 2022 session will commence in the first week of February from February 01 to 07, 2022 respectively. Notably, applicants need to register themselves online. Right after the online application closes on February 07, 2022, the form correction period will begin on February 08, 2022. The correction portal will remain open for 02 days and will be closed on February 09, 2022. The Hall tickets for WBJEEB JECA 2022 session will be released online on May 07, 2022. Likewise, the WBJEEB JECA 2022 results will be announced in the first week of June 2022.

The MCQ-based format will be followed by the board for the WBJEEB JECA 2022 exam. Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in computer science or any Computer application subject can apply for this exam. Qualifying candidates will be eligible to participate in the counseling process for admission in various colleges under West Bengal. According to sources, the assessment will be held in an offline mode only. On the off chance if the pandemic persists, then the WBJEE 2022 assessment will be held by following severe precautionary measures.
Following the previous year’s pattern, WB JECA 2022 assessment comprises two papers in particular: Paper I and Paper II. The first paper will be based on Mathematics in which 100 questions will be asked for 100 marks. While the second paper will be an aptitude test where questions will be asked for a total of 50 marks. Every correct answer will add +1 marks to the overall score. On the other hand, every incorrect answer will result in a loss of -0.25 marks from the overall score of the candidate. Applicants who leave the question unattempted will get 0 marks for such questions.
