Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will now conduct the VITEEE 2021 re-exam on June 10, 2021. Now, the candidates who were absent or could not log in can take the entrance exam. The slot booking for the re-examination of the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam will start tomorrow i.e June 05, 2021. Aspirants can book a slot for the examination online through viteee.codetantra.com. The last date to reconduct VITEEE slot booking is June 08, 2021. The mock test will be organized on June 09, 2021.
Earlier, candidates have reported that they were unable to appear for the examination due to some technical glitches/ server errors and the VITEEE exam link wasn’t accessible. They were unable to access the VITEEE exam link. The examination of May 29 Slot 2 was also rescheduled to May 30, 2021. However, students face similar issues on that day as well. Many students have also sent requests to VIT University to reconduct the entrance examination.
Now, the conducting body has decided to reconduct VITEEE 2021 Examination on June 10, 2021. Those candidates who were unable to log in for the examination can appear for the VITEEE exam as per schedule. Those who were absent on the exam dates earlier can also participate in the exam. An email in this read has already been sent to students on their registered email address.
Before appearing for re-exam. candidates are required to complete the slot booking procedure. They can book a slot through viteee.codetantra.com from June 05, 2021, to June 08, 2021. To book a slot, aspirants require an application number and password to log in. On successful login, select the exam date and slot and click on the ‘book’ button. On the next page, aspirants will receive VITEEE admit card download option as well. Take a printout it for the exam day.
The official body will also organize a mock test on June 09, 2021, from 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM. Aspirants appearing for the re-examination have to take the VITEEE mock test. They have to make certain technical arrangements and check the device compatibility before taking the mock test.
The VIT University has asked students to make necessary arrangement for an uninterrupted examination. They must have a desktop/laptop with a functioning speaker or mic and video facility. It is also suggested to keep a secondary device (mobile phone) in case the primary device stops working. Both the primary and secondary devices should be connected with a good internet connection. Also, make sure that candidates have power back up. The devices should be charged to have an uninteruupted examination.
