Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will release VITEEE 2019 Application Form on November 01, 2018. The application form will be released on vit.ac.in. B.Tech aspirants planning to pursue UG engineering from VIT University must apply within the stipulated period of time. The application form will be available online and offline. Candidates will have to choose one mode of applying and submit one application form only.
The application fee for VITEEE 2019 online application form is Rs. 1150. However, the application fee for the offline form is Rs. 1200. Offline (OMR) application forms will be available in selected post offices and VIT Campuses. The list of post offices will be released in due course in the official website.
VITEEE 2019 will be cnducted in online (CBT) mode. There will be a total of 125 multiple choice questions. 40 each from Mathematics/ Biology, Physics and Chemistry. % questions will be from English language.
Now, the VIT University clearly mentions the strict guidelines that are to be followed by all applicants while submitting application forms.
Important Instruction For VITEEE 2019 Applicants
The first important thing is uploading of correct scanned documents. The passport photo that is to be uploaded in the application form must be recently taken, should be coloured and must be of size between 10kb –200kb and dimensions 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm in JPEG/JPG formats.
Similarly, a scanned of copy of candidate’s signature will be needed with 10kb – 200 kb and dimensions – 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm in JPG/JPEG format.
Secondly, all payments in the online mode will be accepted via the Internet Banking facility through Net banking / Debit card / Credit card.
Third important thing to note about VITEEE 2019 is that, if a candidate’s date of birth falls on or before 1st July 1997 are not eligible to apply for VITEEE 2019.
Forth, while filling the application form candidates must choose the question paper wisely. If one is looking forward for B.Tech admission at VIT, then they must select the VITEEE 2019 Question paper as PCME. However, If one wishes to take admission in B.Tech Biotechnology course, then they must select the question paper as PCBE.
Also, in addition to that, to fill the VITEEE 2019 Application Form, candidates must have secured a total of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology at 10+2 level. For SC/ST and mort eastern state candidates this aggregate is relaxed by 10%.
Also, another important point is that regular ‘NIOS’ board candidates are eligible to fill the VITEEE 2019 Application Form. However, other Open School candidates are not eligible for VITEEE 2019.

The most important point to note is that the slot booking process of VITEEE 2019 will be based on first come first serve basis. Thus as soon as the slot booking opens candidates as expected to complete the slot booking process to book their desired slots for appearing in the online VITEEE 2019 exam.
VITEEE 2019 Important dates to note
The entire schedule of VITEEE 2019 is now available. The university has announced the application form release date as November 01, 2018, other dates like admit card release date, slot booking dates and exam dates are tentative as of now.
As per the tentative schedule by VIT University, Slot Booking and Hall Ticket or Admit Card generation will commence in the month of March 2019. The entrance exam will be conducted in the month of April 2019 in the second or third week.
Finally, VITEEE 2019 Result declaration is expected to be done by the end of April 2019.
VITEEE 2019 exam will be held in 3 sessions per day. The exam timing is expected to remain as 09.00 am to 11.30 am, 12.30 pm to 03.00 pm, and 04.00 pm to 06.30 pm.
