Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has today, March 08, 2022, announced the official schedule for VITEEE 2022. The schedule for filling out the application form and appearing for the entrance exam has been published on the official website vit.ac.in. Accordingly, interested candidates can begin applying for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2022 exam. However, they must fulfill all the eligibility criteria to seek admission for Engineering courses at the various centers of VIT. This is of course, in addition to qualifying the institute’s entrance exam.
VITEEE 2022 Exam Date
As per the official schedule, the VITEEE 2022 examination is scheduled to be conducted from May 30 to June 07, 2022. The test will be held through the computer-based format, at selected centers allotted by the institute. Two types of papers will be held within this timeline – MPCEA and BPCEA.
The term “MPCEA” stands for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude. This test is applicable for those interested in B.Tech. programmes. Similarly, the term “BPCEA” stands for Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English, Aptitude. This exam pattern is applicable for candidates interested in Biotechnology programmes at VIT.
Candidates who successfully register for the VITEEE 2022 examination will be issued separate admit cards. However, the exact date for admit card release is yet to be announced.
VITEEE 2022 Application – Steps to apply & Schedule
To appear for the Engineering entrance exam, candidates need to fill out and submit the VITEEE 2022 application form. The registration process has already begun on the official website vit.ac.in or viteee.vit.ac.in. They have time up to April 30, 2022, to submit their online forms. To apply for the test, candidates need to fulfill the 6-step application process as specified below –
Step 1: Click on – New User Registration.
Step 2: Log in to the official website using the generated credentials.
Step 3: Fill up the online application form.
Step 4: Paying the specified application fee.
Step 5: Uploading scanned images of photograph and signature.
Step 6: Download a copy of the filled-in application form for future reference.

VITEEE 2022 Result & Counselling Dates
In addition to specifying the VITEEE 2022 application schedule and exam dates, the institute has also specified the tentative dates for post-exam events. Accordingly, the entrance exam results will be announced by June 10, 2022. Thereafter, the counseling session shall begin on the same date. However, it is important to note that both dates are tentative and may be subjected to changes, as per the institute’s accord.
