Railway Protection Force (RPF) / Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) has issued the TT DV call letter for Group C now. It is for ER, ECR, SER, and ECoR zones. Now RPF constable ancillary tradesman admit card is available for all groups namely Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D, and Group F. All candidates who are eligible for the trade test (TT) and document verification (DV) against employment notice no. Constable (Ancillary) / RPF – 03/2018 can download their call letters from cpanc.rpfonlinereg.org. TT and DV are scheduled in September-October.
To download the RPF tradesman admit card for group C, candidates need to go to cpanc.rpfonlinereg.org and click on “call letter for TT and DV” link. Then they have to click on Group C link which leads to the admit card download login page. Here, one has to enter registration number and date of birth to download the call letter.
TT DV call letter contains the following details: roll number, date of birth, name, gender, father’s name, category, date of exam, reporting time, venue details, photograph, instructions. There are two parts to the call letter. One has to be submitted at the time of test and is marked as “for official use”. This section has spaces for left hand thumb impression of candidates, right hand thumb impression of candidates, signature of candidate, and signature of GSC.
What to carry with RPF Tradesman Admit Card?
As per the instructions given in the call letter, candidates are required to carry an original ID for biometric verification. The call letter says “Without original ID and Biometric verification,the candidate will not be admitted for tests.”
Also, two copies of color photographs will be required, same as the ones uploaded in online application form. Those documents which are mentioned in para number eight phase III should also be shown, in original, for the purpose of document verification. Self-attested photocopy of original certificates have to be submitted to authorities.
What will happen during trade tests?
Trade test for RPF/RPSF is of 40 marks. Candidates must score 40% in it to qualify, whereas SC and ST candidates should score 35%. The tests are different for each trade.
Barber will be tested for tool handling, hair cutting, shaving. Sweeper will show cleaning septic tanks, sweeping, toilet cleaning, bathroom cleaning, mopping. Washerman will show washing, folding, ironing of clothes. Water carrier will do washing and cleaning of vessels, atta kneading and chapati making, cut vegetables, and cook any one item among rice, vegetables, dal, sambar, meat, fish, kheer.
Gardener trade test will include any two of transplantation, making graft, maintaining plant with knowledge of seed and their sowing season as well as fertilizers and indigenous manures. Tailor will do any two tasks among taking measurement and stitching of shorts, minor repair with maintenance and troubleshooting of sewing machine, knowledge of tools or machines used in cutting and tailoring. Cobbler will do shoe repair, shoe polishing, punch neat holes in leather.
What will happen during document verification?
Candidates have to show their original and self attested photocopy of documents. The documents required include class 10 certificate, caste certificate, certificate of discharge for ex-servicemen, self-attested photograph, NOC from present employer if serving under govt, domicile certificate.
Candidates must report at the venue by 5.30 am, or as mentioned in their call letters. RPF says that the process might take the whole day, and thus candidates should come prepared for the same. They further underline that process mentioned in para number eight of the notification, about phase II, phase III, phase IV will be followed in the tests.
Such candidates who have applied for constable (barber / cobbler) need to bring their own tools or instruments for the trade test. Trade test will be done in batches. Candidates will have to wait for their turn.
