Women and Child Development Department, Chikamagalur, Karnataka is recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Anganwadi Worker and Helper. Eligible candidates between the age limit of 18 years and 35 years who have the minimum educational qualification can submit their applications online. The link to submit representations for the post of WCD Anganwadi Worker and Helper is now activated. Interested candidates can submit their applications by July 15, 2020.
The Department of Women and Child Development (WCD), Chikamagalur has announced vacancies for two posts which are Anganwadi Worker and Helper. WCD has advertised a total of 21 vacancies under the Anganwadi Worker post. Out of these, 04 vacancies are for Chikamagalur district, 04 are for Kadur, 02 are for Tarikere, 05 are for Mudigere and 06 are for N.R.Pura. For the post of Helper, 83 vacancies are announced for different districts. 30 helpers vacancies are announced for Chikamagalur district followed by 11 are for Kadur district, 10 are for Tarikere, 18 are for Mudigere,0 2 for Sringeri, 06 for Koppa district and 06 are for N.R.Pura.
WCD, Karnataka Department is inviting applications from eligible women candidates only. Aspirants willing to apply for the post of Anganwadi Activist should have passed 10th standard. For the post of Anganwadi Maid, the minimum educational qualification is 4th standard and a maximum qualification is qualifying 9th standard. As mentioned above, candidates fulfilling the educational qualifications should also satisfy the age criteria. Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 35 years to apply for any of the announced posts. 10 years of the age limit, that is 45 years of age, is relaxable for the eligible local women of the same village to the USC only. Only those women candidates who are a native citizen of the Chikamagalur district of Karnataka State are eligible to submit their applications.

Eligible candidates have to attach 10th class certificate as the date of birth proof, School transfer certificate for helpers, Application for Residence Certificate from the Tahsildars, 10th-grade mark sheet, 4th class scorecard, 9th class scorecard, Caste Certificate for those claiming reservation under reserved categories, Husband’s death certificate for those who claims to be a widow, Affidavit from the Sub-Divisional Officer that she was the wife of a suicidal farmer, Disability Certificate only if it is applicable, Divorce Certificate from the Court, Affidavit of Women Development Corporation Officials on Devadasi’s Survey List if applicable, Certificate obtained from the officials of the Department of Women and Child Development as a resident of the Departmental Reform Agency.
