The Union Public Service Commission has released the admit cards for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (I) & (II) 2020 examinations. The admit card is released through the official website of the Commission i.e. upsc.gov.in. Eligible applicants of the NDA & NA (I) 2020 and NDA & NA (II) 2020 examinations can download the admit card by logging in to the website using the registration number and password. It is mandatory to carry the admit card in the form of a printed copy to the allocated exam center in order to be allowed to take the test. A combined exam for the NDA (I) 2020 and NDA (II) 2020 is scheduled to be held this year on September 06, 2020.
It is mandatory for all applicants of NDA (I) and NDA (II) 2020 to produce the admit card at the exam center of get access to the exam hall. Therefore, candidates are advised to diwnload the admit card issued to their name from the website only. In order to download the admit card, candidates have to go to the official UPSC website and click on the respective links for NDA (I) and NDA (II) 2020. Thereafter, the link to download the admit card can be found at the website. By clicking on the link, candidates are redirected to the login page, where they have to enter the registration number/User ID generated at the time of registration for the respective exam and the password/date of birth to login to the website. It must be noted that the admit card cannot be downloaded without logging in to the website first.
UPSC conducts the NDA exam twice a year, every year. However, due to the COVID-19 crisis, the NDA (I) 2020 exam was postponed from the scheduled date. After reviewing the situations, the UPSC has decided to conduct a common exam for the selection of NDA (I) and NDA (II) 2020. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 06, 2020. Only the eligible applicants of NDA (I) and NDA (II) 2020 are issued the admit cards. The same can be downloaded by following the aforementioned process easily.
The Commission has specified the terms and conditions of gaining access to the exam centre using the admit card. Along with the issued admit card, one must also carry a government-issued photo identity card viz. voter card, AADHAR card, driver’s license etc. to the exam centre in original. Candidates are allowed to enter the exam centre only up to 10 minutes before the commencement of the exam. Therefore, candidates are advised to report to the allocated exam centre well before time. Provisions for frisking of the candidates are available at the exam centre and candidates are now allowed to enter the exam hall with any banned items such as mobile phones, smartwatches etc. It is also mandatory that candidates wear a mask to the exam centre which must be removed as and when required by the authorities.
