The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) has released the notification of the UPSC Combined Medical Services (CMS) examination 2022 on the official website at upsc.gov.in. Candidates can apply for the exam on the official website at upsconline.nic.in. The application window will be open from April 6, 2022 to April 26, 2022. The UPSC CMS 2022 written examination will be conducted on July 17, 2022.
UPSC CMS 2022 – How to Apply ?
Candidates can apply for the UPSC CMS on the official website of UPSC. To complete the application process of UPSC CMS, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Visit the official website at upsconline.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage click on the link ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC.
Step 3: Find the column for UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination on the next page.
Step 4: Click on the link Click Here for PART I.
Step 5: Fill in all the required details, upload the documents and pay the application fee.
Step 6: Use the registration number and other credentials received while filling in the Part I to login to the Part II of the application.
Step 7: Complete the Part II of the application and submit the same.
Step 8: Download the confirmation page of UPSC CMS application 2022 and take a printout for reference.
The application fee for UPSC CMS 2022 is ₹200 and Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of fee. Candidates have the option to withdraw the application of UPSC CMS 2022 from May 4, 2022 till 6.00 pm on May 5, 2022.

UPSC CMS 2022 – Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the UPSC CMS 2022 examination :
- Should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.
- Should be a citizen of India or the other categories mentioned in the official notification at 3.(I).
- Must be below the age of 32 as on August 1, 2022.
UPSC CMS 2022 Exam Pattern
The UPSC CMS 2022 will be conducted in two parts, the written examination and the personality test. The written examination will be conducted for 500 marks and the personality test for 100 marks.
The question paper of the written test will be divided into two papers of 250 marks each. All the questions will be objective type questions and there will be negative marks for wrongly attempted questions. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours each for Paper I and Paper II.
