UPSC CDS 1 2021 Final Result out at upsc.gov.in; 154 Qualified for IMA, INA, AFA against 154 Vacancies

The CDS marks secured by candidates shall release after the CDS 1 2021 Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) final results are out.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recently declared CDS 1 2021 Final Result. Aspirants can check the UPSC CDS 1 2021 result on the official website, upsc.gov.in. As per CDS merit list, 154 candidates (85 + 58+ 11) are shortlisted for the IMA, INA, AFA against 154 Vacancies advertised for the first session of 2021. The marks for the candidates will be available on the website after the CDS 1 Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) final result is declared.

How to Check CDS 1 2021 Result?

To check the result, aspirants can refer to the steps shared below:

1st step: Go to the official website, upsc.gov.in.

2nd step: Thereafter, tap on the ”examination’ button followed by “active examination”.

3rd step: Select Combined Defence Services 1 2021 Link.

4th step: The direct CDS 1 2021 Final Result link will then display on the screen. Check the roll number in the CDS merit list.

CDS Result 2021

The UPSC CDS 1 2021 notification advertised 154 vacancies. Out of these, 100 vacancies are for Indian Military Academy which also includes the 13 reserved vacancies for NCC ‘C’ certificates (Army Wing) holders. For the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala Executive (General Service)/hydro, 26 vacancies are advertised including the 06 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders (Naval Wing). The remaining 32 vacancies are for Air Force Academy, Hyderabad which also includes 03 reserved vacancies for the NCC ‘C’ Certificate(Air Wing) holders through NCC Special.

The commission had recommended 2679, 1136 and 637 candidates in the written examination as qualified for the SSB interview round. Out of these, those who have cleared the written and SSB interview are declared selected for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy. As per the final merit list, the performance in the medical test is not considered for the preparation of results.

Moreover, the verification of the selected candidates’ date of birth and educational qualifications is still under process by the Army Headquarters. The candidature of all the candidate’s, as of now, is provisional on this score. Candidates are asked to forward their original certificates of date of birth/ educational qualification along with Photostat attested copies. They have to send the documents to Army Headquarters /Naval Headquarters /Air Headquarters, based on their first choice. In case there is any change in the address, aspirants should convey that to Army Headquarters /Naval Headquarters /Air Headquarters as well.
