The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will be releasing the advertisement for the Commission State and Upper Subordinate examinations by the end of January, 2022. With this announcement, the Commission has also stated that it will take necessary steps to make sure that fair and transparent examinations are carried out. UPPSC chairman Sanjay Srinet has stated these steps have been to control the recent incidents of paper leakage. In addition to that, the chairman has stated that the announcement for male nurses will be released in the second week of January, 2022.
As per the chairman, the Commission follows a calendar for conducting the exams and also announcing the results. In 2021, registrations for the UPPSC staff nurse (male) recruitment were done from July 16 to September 03, 2021. The recruitment was released for a total of 3012 vacancies for both male and female candidates.
Age Limit
Coming to the age limit, the candidate must be of minimum 15 years and not more than 40 years. However, category-wise age relaxations will be there, like previous times. In terms of educational qualification, the criteria that were followed previously are:
1. The candidate must have passed the high school examination with Science and the intermediate examination or any equivalent examination recognized by the government.
2. They must possess a diploma in General Nursing and midwifery or a B.Sc. degree in Nursing that can be registered with the UP Nurses and Midwives Council.
3. In addition to that, the candidate must possess a registration certificate from the UP Nurses and Midwives Council as Nurse and Psychiatry. Alternatively, a registration certificate as Nurse and Midwives from the Council will also suffice.
Selection Process
The entire selection process for UPPSC Staff Nurse (Male) will be based on the scores secured by the candidate out of 100 marks. There will be a written examination which will carry 85 marks. After that, the candidate who is working as staff nurse in the UP Medical and Health Services department will be given a score out of 15 marks based on certain criteria.
Application Form
The Commission will be releasing the application forms for UPPSC Staff Nurse (Male) on its official website – uppsc.up.nic.in. No application form will be accepted after the due date. Applicants have to read the declaration and select the checkbox. They have to fill the personal details such as name, gender, parent’s name, educational details, etc. Before final submission, they have to upload photo and signature.
