Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board (UPSSB) has extended the last date to apply for UP Police SI Recruitment 221. Candidates can now submit UP Police SI application Form 2021 on or before the last date June 15, 2021. An official notification in this regard has already been published on the official website. Eligible candidates can submit their applications for Sub Inspector (Male/ Female), Platoon Commander, PAC & Fire Officer through uppbpb.gov.in.
Earlier, eligible candidates were asked to submit the UP Police SI application form before May 30, 2021. However, due to the second wave of COVID-19, several cyber cafes were shut down and students were unable to fill online applications. Some also reported that they were unable to generate the required certificates for the application procedure. After considering candidates plea, the conducting body has decided to extend the last date to apply for UP Police SI Recruitment 2021.
To apply for UP Police SI, candidates have to visit the official website uppbpb.gov.in. Thereafter, navigate to the UP Police SI Registration. On successful registration, aspirants have to login using the reference number and password. Enter the required educational qualification details and post details.
While applying, eligible candidates also have to pay the requisite application fee of Rs. 400/-. There is no concession in the application fee for reserved category candidates. The fee can be paid online (using debit card/ credit card/ net banking) or e-challan.
Before candidates submit their online applications, they have to make sure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. To apply for SI and Platoon Commander posts, candidates must possess a bachelors degree. Candidates who possess a bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognized university can apply for Fire Officer posts. Along with the educational qualification, they also have to fulfil the age limit criteria as well. The minimum age limit for UP Police SI is 21 years. Whereas, the maximum age limit is 28 years.
The conducting body has also defined the physical eligibility for the UP Police SI Recruitment. For male candidates, the minimum height requirement is 168 CM for Gen/ OBC/ SC & 160 CM for ST. The chest size should be 79-84 for Gen/ OBC/ SC & 77-82 for ST.They also have t participate in 4.8 KM Running in 28 Minutes (Gen/ OBC/ SC) & 4.8 KM Running in 28 Minutes for ST category. Similarly, female candidates also have to undergo certain physical eligibility requirement. The height requirement is 152 CM for Gen/ OBC/ SC & 147 CM for ST. They have to complete 2.4 KM Running in 16 Minutes (Gen/ OBC/ SC) and 2.4 KM Running in 16 Minutes (for ST).
