The Selection and Appointment Cell of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad is releasing the admit cards for UP Higher Judicial Service 2020 today at allahabadhighcourt.in. The examination is scheduled to be held on September 05, 2021. Candidates can download the admit cards from today onwards.
To download the admit cards, one has to first visit allahabadhighcourt.in and then scroll down the page to find the ‘Recruitment’ option. Then, they have to click on the link for downloading the admit cards for UP HJS preliminary examination 2020. Now, the candidates have to enter their ID and password that were issued to them during the online application. After that, the admit cards will be displayed. A printout of the same should be taken for future use.
Note that in case a candidate has forgotten their Login ID and/or password, then they also have the option to generate the same. To do that, candidates have to click on the ‘Forgot Password’ button. They can then fill up details like name, father’s/husband’s name and date of birth. These details must be the same as provided during the online application.
However, if a candidate is unable to download the admit cards from the official website allahabadhighcourt.in due to any reason, then they have to obtain a duplicate admit card physically. The same will be issued at the Selection and Appointment Cell which is situated on the first floor of the Meditation and Conciliation Centre Building of the Allahabad High Court. Duplicate admit cards will be issued from September 02, 2021. Candidates have time till 12:30 PM of September 05, 2021, for obtaining the same. The duplicate admit cards will only be issued after proper verification. Candidates must carry valid and original ID proof for the same.
Candidates after qualifying for this examination will be called for the Mains paper. For that, candidates have to secure 45% marks in the upcoming preliminary examination. The final selection will be based on all three stages of the examination namely prelims, mains and interview.
Earlier, the examination was scheduled to be held on April 04, 2021, but it got postponed. The UP HJS 2020 preliminary examination is going to be held in Prayagraj (Allahabad) only. Through this recruitment examination, a total of 98 vacancies of District Judge posts will be filled. Out of these vacancies, 45 posts are for the unreserved category, 23 for OBC, 18 for SC while 01 for ST. Note that the remaining 11 posts will be filled under the order of the top court.
