Ministry of Defence has released ASC Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2021 for around MTS vacancies in the employment newspaper. The authorities have released vacancies for the post of civil motor driver, cook, civilian catering instructor and cleaner. The minimum age limit for the candidates applying for the aforesaid posts is 18 years. The basic academic qualification implies that candidates must have passed their class 10th from a recognised institution. The selection process has a written test followed by a Physical/Skill/Practical Test.
The authorities have announced 400 vacancies, out of which 115 vacancies are for civil motor drivers, 67 vacancies for cleaner and 15 and 3 vacancies for cook and civilian catering instructor respectively. For the MTS posts, 193 vacancies are assigned for labour and 1 vacancy is for MTS(Safaiwala).
Although, the minimum age limit is fixed the upper age limit is subjected to relaxation if the candidate belongs to a reserved category. Along with the educational qualification, the candidates must be proficient in Trade required for a particular post. The candidates applying for post of civil motor driver must possess a driving license and should have work experience of 2 years. While the ones applying for vacancies against Cook must be having knowledge of Indian Cooking.
The ASC Ministry of Defence MTS 2021 application form is affixed with the official notification. Candidates can follow the steps below to fill and send the application form before the closing date:
Step 1: The canddiates need to take a printout of the application form as attached with the recruitment notice.
Step 2: Post download, they need to specify the post for which they are applying, followed by personal details, Email Id, mobile number, date of birth, address, educational qualification, gender, category, physical disability status and details. Along with these details, the candidates must also specify the names of at least three stations wherein they wish to get their posting.
Step 3: After this, candidates need to attach copies of the academic qualification certificate, experience certificate, age proof, category certificate, disability certificate along with 2 self-attested photographs with names of the candidate and father written on the back.
Step 4: Thereafter, they need to take an envelope of 4 ¾ inch X 11 inches specifying the name of the post, percentage scored in class 10th exam, and candidate’s signature.
Step 5: In the end, the envelope has to be sent to The Presiding Officer, Civilian Direct Recruitment Board, CHQ, ASC Centre (South) – 2 ATC, Agram Post, Bangalore -07 (if applying for the post of Labour and MTS (Safaiwala) /The Presiding Officer, Civilian Direct Recruitment Board, CHQ, ASC Centre (North) – 1 ATC, Agram Post, Bangalore -07 (if applying for other trades).
The performa of the admit card for the entrance exam is also affixed with the application form. The candidates need to take a printout of the same and fill in relevant details. The written exam will have 150 questions for 150 marks and the duration of the exam is fixed at 2 hours. The questions asked in the exam will be based on General Intelligence & Reasoning, General English, Numerical Aptitude and General Awareness.
