Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the government has been successful in providing jobs to 4.5 lakh youths in the state in a transparent manner in the last four and a half years under the Mission Employment Program. Various government schemes are being delivered to the last strata of a society powerfully. According to the government’s plan across various departments, the process of appointment is being done fairly and transparently. The Chief Minister was expressing his views in a program organized by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission for distribution of appointment letters to the newly selected District Social Welfare Officers and District Minority Welfare Officers at his official residence here today.

The Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to 04 District Social Welfare Officers and 02 District Minority Welfare Officers. The number of these selected officers is 40. He said that all the newly selected officers would be provided training along with appointments. After this, there will also be an opportunity to go to the district and give service. On this occasion, the officers, who studied at the coaching conducted by the Social Welfare Department, shared their experiences. The Chief Minister said that Social Welfare Department and Minority Welfare Department are important departments. Various types of schemes are being operated by the Social Welfare Department, in which many schemes including Destitute Women Pension Scheme, Old Age Pension Scheme, Scholarship Purva Dasam and Dashmottar Yojana are being operated.

The Chief Minister mass marriage scheme is a popular scheme that has been started by the state government. Through this, the marriages of about two and a half lakh girls have been completed. Social Welfare Department is its nodal department. Along with this, the grant is given to each poor family under the grant scheme for marriage by the Social Welfare Department. He said that to give a new direction to the youth in the state by the Social Welfare Department, coaching institutes are being run under Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana. The Chief Minister said that several schemes are being run by the Minority Welfare Department to solve the specific problems of the persons belonging to minority welfare in the context of their social and economic background.

In this, PM Jan Vikas Program and plans for modernization of madrassas etc. are being run. Through these schemes, a large section of the society is being benefitted by connecting them with the mainstream of the society and the nation. The Chief Minister said that the selection of these newly selected officers could be accomplished only because of the transparent, fair and time-bound functioning of the government. In the past, where the selection process was not completed for years, it is the endeavour of the present government that the selection process should be completed in all the selection commissions with transparency, fairness and timeliness. In this series, appointment letters are being distributed to the newly selected officers today. The Chief Minister said that if any person makes efforts with honesty, then he gets success. Strict action is being taken against the culprits by getting the complaints received by the state government immediately in the process of selection.

No talented student in the state and the country can be denied the opportunity he/she gets. He said that when the State Government is selecting the candidates fairly and transparently, the State Government expects the newly appointed officers to work with honesty and transparency and give better results. The Chief Minister said that despite the delay in the admission process during the Corona period, 36 lakh students have been provided scholarships in the state. Scholarships will also be made available to all the remaining students soon. He said that scholarship and fee reimbursement is very important for the students. This scholarship contributes to the progress of the life path of the children. He said that the government is providing scholarships, so it is the responsibility of the departmental officers to take advantage of this facility to those children with honesty and fairness.

The Chief Minister said that today’s students will become aware citizens and leaders of tomorrow’s society. Therefore, it is the responsibility of all of us that students move forward with full positivity and confidence. He said that 03 newly selected candidates present here told that they were selected with the help of coaching institutes of the Social Welfare Department. It is natural that along with faith in his mind, there is a feeling of faith towards society. Along with this, there is also a desire to do something for society. The state government committed to giving full help to all farmers affected by flood: Chief Minister
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the state government is committed to provide full help to all the farmers affected by the floods. He directed all the divisional commissioners and district magistrates that after conducting an immediate survey of the districts where crops were damaged due to floods, the details of the affected farmers should be fed online in the Agriculture Investment Grant module so that the compensation amount for the affected farmers by the government be made available. The Chief Minister was reviewing the relief assistance provided under Agriculture Investment Grant in a high-level meeting held at his official residence here today.
He said that in the financial year 2021-22, the compensation amount for the crops damaged by the floods should be distributed to the affected farmers at the earliest. State Government’s ‘Trace, Test and Treat’ Policy Has proved useful in controlling the COVID-19 infection: Chief Minister
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the ‘Trace, Test and Treat’ policy of the state government has proved useful in controlling the infection of Covid. He has given instructions to effectively continue the arrangements for the prevention and treatment of Covid-19. The Chief Minister was reviewing the situation of Covid-19 in the state in a high-level meeting convened at his official residence here today. In the meeting, the Chief Minister was apprised that 05 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours. During this period 07 persons were discharged after successful treatment.

At present, the number of active cases of corona in the state is 94. District Aligarh, Auraiya, Badaun, Baghpat, Ballia, Balrampur, Barabanki, Basti, Bahraich, Bhadohi, Bijnor, Chitrakoot, Deoria, Etawah, Farrukhabad, Fatehpur, Firozabad, Gonda, Hamirpur, Hapur, Hardoi, Hathras, Jhansi, Kanpur Dehat, There is not a single patient of Covid in Kasganj, Kaushambi, Kushinagar, Lakhimpur Kheri, Lalitpur, Maharajganj, Mahoba, Mainpuri, Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli, Rampur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Shamli, Shravasti, Siddharthnagar, Sonbhadra, Sultanpur and Unnao. The recovery rate of corona infection in the state is 98.7 per cent. In the last 24 hours, 1,48,946 corona tests were conducted in the state. Till now 08 crores 27 lakh 92 thousand 74 Kovid tests have been completed in the state.
The Chief Minister was apprised that out of 549 under construction, 507 oxygen plants have become functional due to the coordinated efforts of the Central and State Governments. He said that 03 trained youth should be deployed at each centre for efficient operation of these oxygen plants. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is providing the protection cover of corona vaccination free of cost to all the citizens of the targeted age group. Vaccination work is being done fast in the state. In the meeting, the Chief Minister was apprised that till last day 12 crore 67 lakh 38 thousand doses of corona vaccine were administered in the state. More than 09 crores 65 lakh people have received the first dose of the vaccine. More than 03 crore 22 lakh people have received both doses of the vaccine. In this way, 65.46 per cent of the target age group have got one dose and 20.50 per cent of people have got both doses of vaccine.
The Chief Minister said that a better surveillance system should be kept strong to prevent dengue, malaria and other viral diseases. He directed to maintain all arrangements in all the hospitals for the treatment of patients. He said that the work of cleanliness, sanitization and fogging should be carried out with full activeness in all the districts. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is committed to provide immediate help to all the affected farmers. He directed that the survey work of damage to crops due to excessive rains in various districts should be completed soon. He said that compensation should be paid to all the affected farmers in time. He said that it should be ensured that farmers get DAP fertilizers smoothly.

The Chief Minister said that keeping in mind the upcoming festivals, the quality of food items should be monitored. Taking every complaint of adulteration in food items seriously, effective action should be taken. While directing to take strict action against the hoarders by conducting raids, he said that all necessary steps should be taken to keep the prices of food items under control. The Chief Minister said that the rural areas which have been included in the urban bodies in the recent past. Necessary urban facilities should be made available in all those areas. Communication should also be done with the people living in these areas.
