The board exams of UP Board class 10 and 12 ended on February 28 and March 02, 2019 respectively. Now, the students are waiting for the results. It was expected that the board would announce the result declaration date on April 22, 2019. However, there is no fixed date available for the results. Now, it is anticipated that the date for the results would be revealed within two days. So, if the UP Board would release the result date by April 26, 2019. Then the students may get the results of class 10 and 12 after April 26, 2019.
However, there is no confirmed date available from the board’s side. As per the media reports, some of the newspapers are saying that the result will be released by April 28 or some are saying by April 30, 2019. Though this is clear that the students of class 10 and 12 will get their results by the end of April 2019.
Last year, the result was declared on April 29, 2019. So, it may possible that the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad will release the result within the same week.
The candidates will be able to see their results online on the official website i.e. on upmsp.edu.in. The link of the result will be available there. The students will have to click on the link and then they will get a new page. On that page, they will be required to enter the roll number. The roll number must be the same as provided on the admit card.
Other than the official website, the candidates will also get the results on some other websites. These websites are upresults.nic.in, upmspresults.up.nic.in, results.gov.in. There are some third-party websites which also declares the results for the same such as indiaresults.com or examresults.net etc. Students will have to submit the roll number or the name of the candidates to obtain the results.
The board will also provide the opportunity to the candidates to find the results via SMS. To do so, they will be required to type UP10ROLLNUMBER or UP12ROLLNUMBER and then send it to 56263.
In the current year, more than 58 lac students had appeared for the examinations. Out of these candidates, 31,95,603 are from class 10 while 26,11,319 from class 12.
In the previous year, 36,55,691 students took part in the exams of class 10 and 30,66,496 for class 12. The overall pass percentage was 75.16% and 72.43% for high school and intermediate respectively. Now, coming to the performances of the girls and boys, it was clear that the girls outshined boys in class 10 as well as in class 12. The pass percentage of girls and boys was 78.8% and 72.3% for class 10. for class 12, it was 67.36%. and 78.44% respectively.
