The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Board has released the timetable for the class 10 and 12 upcoming board examinations, as per a report by Patrika. Students who will be appearing for the upcoming board exams can now check the timetables given below. As per reports, nearly 52 lakh students are going to appear for the board exams in 2022. This accounts for at least 28 lakh students in class 10 and 24 lakh students in class 12.
As per the released timetable, the theory exams for both classes 10 and 12 are going to be held in the fourth week of March 2022 while the practical exams will take place in the third week of February 2022. More particularly, the board exams for both classes 10 and 12 will commence on March 24, 2022. Initially, the date sheet for the UP board exams was expected to be released in early December, 2021. However, it was delayed and the board exams were postponed due to the UP state assembly elections.

The board exam schedule were earlier affected owing to the third wave of the COVID pandemic across the country and an unprecedented rise in Omicron cases. This further affected the academic curriculum and the preparations of the students. Following this, the commencement of assembly elections in the state further slated the exams. An official update from Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Board (UPMSB) regarding the board exam date sheets for classes 10 and 12 is yet awaited.
